This shoe started my latest sneaker craze. I bought the purple, black and yellow variation and they are very clean and stylish. I would give the style overall a 5/5 rating. What brings this down for me is the overall comfort of the shoe and the laces themselves. The shoe took me 3 months to break in before they truly felt right and we're pretty tight on my feet at first purchase. The laces also are really annoying coming untied constantly. Comfort level for these is a 3/5, so hence the 4/5 rating decent shoe just wish they were more comfy

These shoes are striking! Right out of the box I was very happy with how they looked visually. They look great with leggings and joggers, high socks or low socks.Once I put them on, after ordering my normal size (7), I was a bit concerned because they felt incredibly tight. In my experience Nike shoes tend to run a little tight and these were no exception. I headed to the gym the next day and they were still tight after a workout. I readjusted the shoelaces a few times, and after making sure to loosen the laces all the way down to the toe, they fit perfectly. However now the laces are a bit short. That said, this is just a small complaint. I’ve now worn these shoes hiking, cycling, running, and working out and they have gotten more comfortable over time. The ... MoreThese shoes are striking! The construction is durable and they still look as good as coming out of the box. They offer great arch support and my feet don’t feel tired at all after a workout. I definitely recommend these shoes, just perhaps sizing a half size up especially if you have wide feet! My feet are regular width and adjusting laces worked, but I think you’d need a bigger size if your feet are wider. Definitely suggest these for your next work out shoe!

I am a 34 year old mother that is currently pregnant, so I love to have trendy sneakers but also need comfortable shoes. I run a little and take long walks daily with my dog, and these Nike Air Max Plus sneakers meet the mark for sure! I love the look and that they are more visually appealing than many other running sneakers. The fit of the shoe is a little tight, but not tight enough to be considered "running small" - the sneakers just fit like a glove to my feet. The soles help me feel light on my feet and provide comfort even on mile 5. I was most impressed that I didn't have to break these sneakers in, they were comfortable from the first time I put them on! My only suggestion would be that the Nike Air Max Plus sneakers should come in a wider variety of colors. ... The Nike Air Max Plus performed beyond my expectations! I wore them in a variety of my workout routines like running, HIIT and even outdoor yoga! They are so light yet durable enough to withstand intense workouts! The fit was just right and not to tight, so they didn’t fall off while kick boxing! I love the design and how I can wear them anywhere. As a mother of two young children this is super important! I love going to the park with my kids and these were perfect! I was able to run after them with no problem. What I liked most was that I could wear these all day long, in all sorts of activities with comfort! Plus, the air pockets in the soles make this a unique fitness shoe that can be worn anywhere!I found no cons with this athletic shoe.I definitely recommend ... Overall, I like the shoe. Or I should say, I want to like the shoe. It seems well made, has nice cushioning, and I like the style. That said, there are certain things about the way it fits that leave me questioning whether it will end up getting a lot of use. I'm not sure if I got the wrong size, if my foot is wider than average, or if there are just design flaws with the shoe. Or, maybe it just needs to get broken in before I'm able to wear these all day.It feels like a low volume shoe. I would love a little extra width and more room for the top of the foot. As it is, my foot felt overly compressed. I hardly had to pull on the laces to make them tight as the shoes were mostly tight once my feet were in them, untied. As it is, my foot felt overly compressed. I hardly had to pull on the laces to make them tight as the shoes were mostly tight once my feet were in them, untied. The first time I wore them for a long time, my feet tingled, like pins and needles. Maybe I have a wider foot than average but I've never had to purchase a "wide" version in any other shoe. Also, the back part of the shoe is hard and pointy, irritating my Achilles tendon on both feet. I do hope they stretch over time.Initially, I thought the design in the black / white colorway was a little masculine but it's grown on me the last couple of weeks. I appreciated the glossy accents which gave the design a subtle flair. The shoes seem lightweight but not very breathable. The inside of the shoe is soft and has a good level of cushioning. The shoes seem well constructed and I wouldn't be surprised if they end up being very durable.
If looking at these for running then they are lighter and smaller shoe than previous AirMax's.First reason for taking away a star, the look of the shoe, I included photos- not a huge fan of the super rounded toe. Think that threw me off first, but it grows on you. From afar they look cute.Second, my foot tends to run 7.5 to 8 so usually Nike is on the smaller side so I always go up to an 8, these were actually a little bigger on me so my heel tended to slide a little more and ended up with blisters within a ten minute walk- easily avoidable wearing higher socks the first couple times until worn in but just be aware if you size up because it's a Nike that these don't seem to run as small. Finally, the laces seem almost too short for the shoe so I didn't use the top ... I love my original AirMax's so these didn't live up to those but if you are a more avid runner these may be better suited.
I really wanted to love these shoes. They are aesthetically my style and are clearly constructed to last. A beautiful glossy pattern on the mat black combined with the white bottom is perfection in shoe style for me. Unfortunately, they are very stiff, and run small (or should I say narrow) in the toe area. I've worn them roughly 2 weeks every day to walk my son to and from school as well as run errands around town, and to make dinner every night. Normally I don't wear shoes inside my home but I was really hoping to break them in some as the toe area is very tight and stiff. Rather then loosening up, they seem to get more snug the longer I have them on. I've tried adjusting the laces and worn thinner socks, but I am still experiencing discomfort in my toes. I ... I considered sizing up, however the length is just right, so I fear even half a size may have them slipping off my heels. I am going to continue wearing them, as I really do love the style, however I will be mindful of how long they will be on to keep my feet happy. I highly suggest trying them in person before purchase, and maybe, depending on your foot shape, sizing up a half size from your norm.
Unfortunately the fit and feel was disappointing. The toe box was tight even with loosening the laces. I don’t consider myself having wide feet, but this shoe constricted and irritated my toes. I liked the design of this shoe especially the sole that gives a springy/ air like vibe to it. This shoe was not comfortable to wear all day. I managed to make it through one workout running about 2 miles on a treadmill and my feet were achy half way through. I did not find these shoes comfortable at all during my running or rowing workout. They were also not comfortable to just walk my dog in or drop off the kids to school. I liked the design the most about this shoe. I would change to make them lighter and more comfortable in the toe box. A bonus would be to be able to wear ... My first impression of the Nike Air Max Plus was that it is a sleek looking shoe and the design with the wave accents is appealing. They appear to be well made and of good quality. First trying them on, they were extremely stiff and I feel like they run very narrow and small with a small toe box. They have loosened up a bit as I’ve worn them more, but are still stiff. Cushioning is decent in the heel and forefoot, but there is no arch support. The mesh seems to be fairly breathable. I do not like the hard plastic on the outside of the toe box, as it makes the toe area more stiff and it scuffs easily. Due to the stiffness, lack of arch support, and small toe box, this is not a shoe I could run in. However, they are comfortable enough to wear for light walking all ...
