While looks aren't the most important thing for performance shoes, I do think it is an important aspect for most, so it's good that these excel in that department. These are extremely lightweight shoes. I was definitely surprised by that when I got them in hand. At around 0.4 pounds, you will not feel them on your feet when you have them on which is exactly what you out of a running shoe. The upper consists of a very thin flyknit, which is both a pro and a con, and all the rest of the weight is in the mid/out sole.Speaking out the midsole, ZoomX is probably the most comfortable cushioning I've ever had in a shoe. The step-in comfort is immediate; the moment you put these on, you can tell this is something different. This is my first experience when wearing a shoe with ZoomX and I now know that I have been missing out.Running in these have been such a great experience. You bounce in these when running so every step springs for forward making the runs I had in them seem easier. I was nervous at first because I did have room calf fatigue the next day after going on my first run with them on, but I think that was just a issue with my training as subsequent runs left me with no issues.I haven't really gotten the chance to test these with a very fast pace as my runs are around a 8:30 pace per mile, so I look forward to seeing how these perform when I really start to increase my tempo and distance in the coming months.I'll end this some a more things I liked and some concerns I have about these long term. The cushion inside the heel of the upper leads to there being no heel slippage while wearing these and added comfort. The wide forefoot helps with the stability so you won't feel wobbly while running. I mentioned that the flyknit upper was both a pro and con; were it helps greatly reduce the weight, I'm worried about the durability of it. It also will not be good with in winter months as your feet will be cold when wearing these. I'm also concerned about the durability of the outsole as there's there isn't much rubber on the shoe so I can see the ZoomX wearing down quickly. I will have to keep an eye on this. The shoelaces becoming undone were also a bit of an issue for me. Single knots become undone all the time and you have to tie these very tight in order to double knot, leading me to worry about how uncomfortable my forefoot and ankle would be in them. It turned out to be not that much of a problem for me, but this is something to keep in mind.Overall these are a very good and I will be putting as many miles as I can in them. If they are in your budget, don't hesitate to pick them up.

This shoe was such an amazing product for running. I was blown away by how much this affected my daily runs. This shoe was such a lightweight shoe and when I put it on feet, it almost felt as if I hadn't even put on anything significant on my feet. The fit was nearly perfect and it fit just right, it was a bit tight at first but with the fully knit upper, there was a bit of stretching that was allowed by the shoe that after putting it on more and more times, it is almost as if it stretched enough to accommodate my feet almost perfectly (still a tad bit tight still after a few wears and runs but not to the point where it is unbearable to wear). The experience of running in these was something else. It was very soft on feet on every impact thanks to the Zoomx ... MoreThis shoe was such an amazing product for running. The experience of running in these was something else. It was very soft on feet on every impact thanks to the Zoomx cushioning system and the energy return was very good. This also may be a downside for some people as well as a softer/bit more plush cushioning system for running may not be ideal because they may want something a tad bit firmer. Another potential downside of this shoe is the sole of the shoe as well. There is only true rubber on the sole in the forefoot area and the rest is just molded and exposed cushioning. This is probably to save on weight and to make it as light as possible without sacrificing performance but this will definitely wear down over time, and probably a lot faster for heel strike runners. Design wise, I am a big fan of the silhouette and it looks great in my opinion, even the bolder/brighter colorways as well. The only thing I would probably change about the shoe is adding a bit more protection in the heel portion of the sole because that exposed foam cushioning has already shown signs of deteriorating and will probably be gone after more running is done. With that addition, I believe that that could help the shoe last longer. Overall, this is an amazing running shoe created by Nike and I would definitely add this to the rotation for both casual runners and maybe even serious runners as well.

Right out the box these Nike Zoom Vaporfly Next %3 were gorgeous. The color scheme of the white, sliver, and black were pristine and clean. I liked that the shoe laces had texture and ridges so that the its less likely to become untied when walking/running. The tongue of the shoe has a padded portion towards the medial side and is wide enough that it covers part of the foot so your foot wont rub against the shoe (preventing blisters). The vamp is slightly angled off to the side making it little more stylish and sophisticated. The shoe is made with a mesh-like material, making it very lightweight, quick to dry, breathable and easily cleaned. Though it does have open holes in the mesh which allows your sock to show through, you can still wear it with any color sock. The sole has good cushioning that feels bouncy and when walking/ running, it almost propels you forward due to the way the cushion tapers in thickness. (Personally love it because it makes it very comfortable and less effortful to walk). The back of the sole has that iconic Nike point (reminds of me spoilers on cars), which makes the shoes look even sportier. These shoes are versatile making great lifestyle shoes and functionally great running shoes. Perfect for the my lazy days where Im in atheleisure wear outfits. Totally would buy more in other colors. Overall great shoes.

Talk about pillow cushioning! The fit was great, the extended cushion around the back of the foot was very nice as I didn't have to worry about having raw, irritated or bloody backs of my ankle with extended wear. I really loved the feel of the shoe with the ZOOM cushioning really absorbing the impact of each stride while simultaneously transferring the motion of your foot propelling you forward at the same time. The design is very sleek, the Flyknit upper area has all kinds of breathability with the open weave holes to keep your feet well ventilated on those long runs and hot days. This is a dedicated road running shoe, and it performs excellent in that area. I wouldn't really change anything about it for it's dedicated purpose, it does take just a bit of balancing to stand still and firm as the cushioning is designed to absorb impacts and roll forward with your stride. Definitely not a knock as it's not really intended to be an all day wear or gym work out shoe.Definitely stepping the game up in the higher end running shoes.
Overall, this is a solid, comfortable running shoe with a unique and stylish design.THE FIT: Fits true to size and the mesh, breathable upper made for a comfortable, flexible fit around your foot. With a slightly wider foot and high arch I sometimes have issues with tightness at the widest part of my foot (base of the toes) and the top along the laces, but that was not an issue this shoe and it was incredibly comfortable. There is a line of extra cushioning at the back of the ankle that was AWESOME for comfort and prevented rubbing/blisters.The shape of the tongue helps it lay flat against the ankle quite nicely.THE DESIGN: The sole is unlike any running shoe I've ever worn and takes some getting used to. The sole is a thick, taller (but very light) foam that rolls you toward the toe as you walk/run, giving you a sense of effortless forward movement. The whole shoe is incredibly light and the upper is flexible and breathable. Super comfortable and provides great cushion. There is a deep groove in the bottom that does collect rocks/gravel easily if you're running off paved roads, but otherwise I have no negatives on the design.THE AESTHETICS: The design is unique and stylish without being too over the top and looks nice for both running and running errands. The white was very clean, simple, and accented by the silver in the sole nicely. The asymmetrical laces had the pleasant effect of making my foot look slimmer and I got multiple compliments when wearing them.Ultimately, I really, really like this shoe. It's unique, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing. I've worn them for running and for a full day chasing my toddler and infant around and never had any discomfort, sore feet, or issues with blistering, rubbing, or getting hot. Wasn’t sure I’d like the shape/design of the sole when trying on but actually ended up really liking it--if you're particular about shape or like a flat sole, though, this may not be the shoe for you.
I had high expectations for these shoes and those expectations were met straight out of the box. These are ideal for road runners or anybody looking to step up their cushion in an unbelievably light shoe. They fit just a little long, I went true to size and typically get size 11. There is just a smidge of extra space in the toe box. There is no word to describe the breathability of these shoes; the upper mesh is so thin and arid it’s like running with the window open. I got the white color way and am scared to take them anywhere off-road, given they have so much height off the ground I would not recommend them for off road running. These shoes have more bounce with wear, perhaps the bounce is more conformed to my foot after just a few miles in these shoes. That being said the break in period is hardly noticeable, the shoes just cater more to your stride after just a bit of use. The laces are ribbed and hold together nicely, I have not had any problems with the lacing system which adjusts nicely. The tongue is interestingly shaped, take care to align it well before tying down the laces, as they will hold “until the cows come home”. These shoes are legitimately amazing and worth the price if you want some extra bounce on impact. The grip on the outsoles really grab the pavement and sidewalk and provide plenty of traction for the ZoomX Vaporfly Next %3. I highly recommend this innovative piece of Nike technology!

The shoe feels like a feather on your feet, allowing for an effortless stride and enhanced agility. This characteristic alone sets it apart from many other running shoes on the market, making it ideal for runners who prioritize speed and efficiency. However, it is worth mentioning that the narrow sole on the heel might raise concerns for runners accustomed to a wider strike base. While this design aspect helps to promote a more forward-leaning running position, providing a feeling of propulsion, it may take some getting used to. Runners who rely heavily on a wider base might find it necessary to adjust their running style initially. Once adapted, however, the narrow sole contributes to the overall responsiveness and speed of the shoe.Another notable aspect of the Vaporfly Next%3 is its superb breathability. The upper mesh material allows for excellent airflow, preventing overheating and discomfort during long-distance runs. Your feet stay cool and dry, minimizing the risk of blisters and providing an added level of comfort during intense training sessions or races. In terms of performance, the Nike 200mx Vaporfly Next%3 truly excels. It is a shoe that is undoubtedly geared towards competitive runners and those with long-term running goals. The combination of its lightweight construction, responsive sole, and innovative design features helps propel runners forward with every stride, maximizing speed and efficiency. Whether you're training for a marathon or aiming for a new personal best, this shoe provides the tools you need to achieve your goals. While the Nike 200mx Vaporfly Next%3 is an exceptional running shoe, it falls just short of a perfect rating due to the adjustment period required for runners used to a wider strike base. However, once familiar with the shoe's unique design, the benefits it offers far outweigh this initial concern. In conclusion, I highly recommend the Nike 200mx Vaporfly Next%3 running shoe to competitive runners and long-term enthusiasts seeking to enhance their performance. Its ultra-lightweight nature, narrow sole, and superior breathability make it a worthy investment. With this shoe on your feet, you'll be well-equipped to conquer your running goals and achieve new personal records.
These are super light, super springy, energy-returning, and performance-enhancing race shoes.Seasoned distance runners will have their well-formed opinions and preferences on race shoes but I will speak from the perspective of runners who are new to the super shoes. The first thing I noticed is how incredibly light these shoes are. They are certainly the lightest running shoes I have ever used even with the large amount of foam and carbon plate inside. The upper is very thin and breathable. The large foam stack is pretty firm.First time running in the Next%3, I immediately noticed the springiness of the ride. I can definitely feel the energy return and it showed in the performance. My mile times came in faster than the effort felt. I can definitely feel the energy return and it showed in the performance. My mile times came in faster than the effort felt. They are so light that you hardly feel any weight, as if your feet are just sitting on top of cushions. They keep you on your toes literally so that might be an adjustment for many runners. The Vaporfly may not be the best for runners who need a lot of stability support due their pronation. The large amount of cushioning and lightweight upper really lower the bar for stability. I am used to very supportive shoes and I could definitely feel the difference on longer runs. I would prefer a more secure lock around the heel. And as mentioned before, you may have to make foot-strike adjustments since these are prone to keep you on your toes. I would definitely recommend lacing as tight as possible.I can't wait to use these in a race one day. These are not long term training shoes since the lightness undermines durability but that is intended. I will continue to train in my more supportive, everyday runners and break these out on event day.
I absolutely love these shoes! I'm a pretty big runner (90 mpw, bunch of marathons/smaller races) and have tried racing in all sorts of different shoes--like the Vaporfly 2s, both Alphaflys, etc. etc. But these shoes are incredible--I PRed by 20 seconds/mile in a recent 5k compared to the Alphaflys. You can read everything else below, but I think that's the biggest endorsement I can give them tbh.I'm convinced that these are the best, fastest shoes for anything like a half marathon or less on the market. They're so incredibly light (and by the way, I love the weight breakdown on the soles--see pictures.) They feel super fast and running at high speeds doesn't even feel hard--I was running at 5:20/mile out of shape and honestly my legs didn't really feel a ... MoreI absolutely love these shoes! They feel super fast and running at high speeds doesn't even feel hard--I was running at 5:20/mile out of shape and honestly my legs didn't really feel a thing.Basically they're perfect for what they're trying to do--be a fast, light racing shoe. The upper is extremely light but also super solid--never any risk of anything tearing or falling out of place. I love the ridged laces but found that using the extra eyelet made them even more secure for me.And the actual running experience is incredible--these shoes are incredibly bouncy without being imposing. They let you run light and free while giving you propulsion when you need it. I think my form actually improved and I landed a bit more forward on my foot while racing in them. Would highly recommend for anyone running a mile race, a 5k, 10k, or a half. They might even become my favorite marathon shoe, but I haven't tested them on that distance yet!I liked them so much I ordered my brother a pair immediately.
The Nike 200mx Vaporfly Next%3 is easily the best running shoe I have used to date. Having a narrow foot with a normal arch, I was able to adapt easily to the extra room in the forefoot compared to past iterations of this model. The ZoomX foam feels a lot more squishy than previous models but does not lack the pop or response in combination to the flyplate. Toeing off in this shoe feels very natural when propelling forward. No matter if it’s track workouts, short runs, or long runs this shoe fulfills all my needs to perform at a high level. The engineered flyknit is as breathable as it has ever been and does not retain water on the wet runs at all. That said, this shoe is extremely comfortable to wear but I would not recommend wearing it for casual or all day use. ... MoreThe Nike 200mx Vaporfly Next%3 is easily the best running shoe I have used to date. The engineered flyknit is as breathable as it has ever been and does not retain water on the wet runs at all. That said, this shoe is extremely comfortable to wear but I would not recommend wearing it for casual or all day use. The design allows for more casual look than past models but do not be confused, this is a performance shoe through and through. If I could change anything about this shoe is to widen the forefoot to heel of the sole. There were times it could feel a bit unstable if worn for longer periods of time off the trails and track. Those were very far and between but noticeable. Lastly, I really loved the color of this shoe. Not only did the shoe itself make me feel fast but so does the silver and white colorway! Not to mention that Nike Swoosh designed onto the outsole, very very cool! Thank you Nike for the opportunity to wear test and review the Nike 200mx Vaporfly Next%3! Happy racing!
