Ordered these online. Have suffered from shin splints and knee issues from running. Bought these, read some reviews on the same problems I was having, so I took the plunge and bought them. I really like the different designs that they have, but I decided to buy the black with the gold swoosh. Wow! I ran several miles on my first day of training and no shin splints and no ice pack on my knee. Nike, well done. Will be buying another pair but in a different color to add my Nike collection. Thank you a million times over.

I bought these on a whim when Nike announced them via email a few weeks ago. I am mostly in the gym for HIIT and my previous kicks were Metcon flyknit in a size 8. Iām a 7.5aa in shoes, and they were only slightly wide for me. The new Metcon dsx arrrived and they were huge in an 8. As were the Metcon 4s.SO I ordered these in a 7.5 and they are the best sneakers Iāve ever owned. Comfortable for indoor sprinting, extra bounce for box jumps, fit like a glove. I LOVE them. My feet are narrow and hard to fit and these are perfection. Iāve never spent this kind of money on athletic shoes, but Iām so glad I did this time.

After carefully shopping for a quality, stylish & sensibly priced workout sneaker for the days I want to look cute while busting a sweat, I selected this shoe. AND I LOVE them! They even go great with my casual wardrobe. However, after a few wears a month, a little over a year later, my toe has gradually poked through. (sad face). Now in know sneakers dont last forever but when you buy & alternate between these and another pair of the same style (different color) I dont think such a quality brand shoe should expire with such casual use.OVERALL: I would still buy another pair to replace them, but maybe not for high impact workouts such as mine. Best for yoga & walk dates with the girls, though.

Nike is definitely my favorite brand when it comes to a reliable shoe. I generally buy Air Max for fashion purposes, but I looked into the VaporMax with the hopes of finding something comfortable for work. & I can honestly say that these exceeded my expectations. They are THE MOST comfortable shoe Iāve ever purchased! I have a wide foot & typically wear a 8.5, which is what size I decided to go with for these. I was nervous about the fit because they were a little snug when I first put them on, but throughout the day they seemed to form to the shape of my foot. Theyāre so lightweight yet supportive at the same time. Working in the medical field and being on my feet for 10-12+ hours a day definitely calls for a shoe that provides comfort and resilience, & these do ...Ā MoreNike is definitely my favorite brand when it comes to a reliable shoe. Ok so! i am an advid fan of the nike airmax, own several pair. I researched these online since i knew i would only be able to buy them online and couldn't try them on first. I could only find one review about the sizing, which was frustrating. First off the sizing; 1. they are true to size - i wear a 9.5 in all of my other regular airmax and they fit perfectly. 2. There is no wiggle room, the fabric on these are different, they fit like a glove, the length is a true 9.5 with no extra room to spare in the length (which is how i like it). 3. IF you are a person that likes a little extra room at the length then go a half size up and they will fit perfectly. Here is another way to look at it; because there is no wiggle room in these shoes (but are super comfortable) you ...Ā MoreOk so! i am an advid fan of the nike airmax, own several pair. IF you are a person that likes a little extra room at the length then go a half size up and they will fit perfectly. Here is another way to look at it; because there is no wiggle room in these shoes (but are super comfortable) you do not need to wear thick socks. These shoes are not tight feeling, but fit snuggly, there is ample room across the mid section of the foot from the little toe to the big toe so they are definitely not narrow there. The best way i can describe it is if you like to wear thick socks and prefer a little more wiggle room in length and fit then go a half size up.Now for the feel; 1. super comfy, wow! these are very different than the regular airmax styles, they seriously fit like a glove and shape to your feet. The material is stretchy and is flexible, it is also thin material. 2. When walking on them they feel like all of the other airmax sneakers, nice and bouncy. The arch support in this particular shoe is a little more present than in my other airmax shoes. 3. They make your foot look smaller and are super cute on with an outfit. 4. When you put them on and they feel tight, adjust the laces and then just wear them around the house for an hour, after a while the feeling is like if you put on 2 pairs of socks. You know you have shoes on because of how the bottom feels but all of the rest of the shoe, the fabric part feels like a snug fitting thick sock. (when i was a kid and got a new pair of shoes, which was rare, when i put them on i felt like i could run the fastest and would race my siblings in my new shoes. Ofcourse it was about the race but about 'how the shoes made me feel' while wearing them. Well these give them that nostalgic feeling, after i put them on i wanted to go run in them to see how they bounced and how fast i could run.)I have not run in these however, i do run in another pair of my other airmax shoes and i could see how this shoe is an amazing shoe for running. This shoe will not disappoint. I have read as many male and female reviews on this type of shoe as i could find, b4 i purchased. I think the reason why some people are dissatisfied with the shoe is becuz they are expecting it to be like all of the other airmax styles and it's NOT. It is truly a cut above all of my other pairs. I will definitely buy a few more pairs in diff colors. The only down side is i wish they had more colorful, vibrant colors than all of the grey shades. You cannot compare these to the other styles of airmax so get your mind right and give them a chance. IF you are a TRUE fan of the airmax shoe you will fall in love with these vapormax!! This particular color i specifically bought to go with my outfits, i will not be working out in these. They are just that gorgeous looking while wearing and are just for show.
I was first skeptical to purchase shoes that were almost $200, and the "air" part of the shoe was not something I thought I would like. Still, I gave these shoes a try because I am currently a student and needed the most comfortable shoe I could find, and Nordstrom's policy is so amazing I knew I could try them out, risk free.First, I knew that my preference was for the "Flyknit" type of shoe because I had an old pair of Nike's that I kept wearing, even though it was time to throw them out. The "air" on the bottom of the shoe is a little weird at first, but I really like the shoes; I could tell these were going to work well for long days on my feet, not just for temporary comfort - which is exactly what I wanted. These shoes are an unexpected surprise and were totally worth the price; also, the color was exactly as pictured. The entire shoe, down to the LACES, is made with real quality and craftsmanship, and I could not be any happier with these shoes!P.S. My family thought they looked weird and didn't really like them, but who cares what other people think? LOL
I've spent years trying to find shoes that deter that painful "oh that's right, I remember, I've been on my feet for 12 hours straight" feeling. THESE WORK. I have them in 3 colors. Planning on more. Nike air vapormax flyknit 2's are amazing. The cloth toe (i.e., the flyknit upper layer) doesn't last long, maybe a few months before a hole appears, but that's wearing them almost every day so in normal people years vs nurse years, that's a solid period of time before you'd need to replace them. I'm 1000% converted.
I took off one star because the sizing was way off for me. I am a size 7 with Nike. I am so glad my Nordies had the sizes to try, otherwise I would have ended up with two exchanges via mail. I ended up with a full size up. An 8 in the smokey/beige color which is really a light pink or old rose color. It was challenging to even put my foot in the 7. The 7.5 was pinching my toes. I ended up with 8, but only with very thin socks. The 8.5 already looked very odd and too long. I have no complaints about blisters. It is comfy. My only advice is you give it a try for the best fit.
I was looking at retiring my trusty Asics after nearly 300 trail miles, and had decided to switch back to my trusty Nike Airs since I didn't need to wear superfeet insoles with those, but needed to with the Asics. However, my Nike Run Club app showed me a timely advertisement for the Vapormax, and I was very intrigued, and as a result, I was now indecisive. I had decided to break out my Free RN natural that I bought only for treadmill running, for my afternoon 4 mile pavement run (until I decided on Air Max or VaporMax). After 3 unbearable, shin splinty miles, I limped home. The very next day I went to the only store in town with the VaporMax, knowing how well my Nike Airs treated me, and decided to take the plunge. Not only were they incredibly attractive, but I couldn't wait to run in them, even though my shins told me that I should probably hold off. I did manage to talk myself into a 2 mile walk around the neighborhood, rather than stay home. When i hit the bottom of the steps and put my earbuds in my ear, it was like my legs took over, and decided they were going for a run - despite the soreness in my calfs. Now, let me tell you...When I hit that first high impact step in the Vapormax, the shoe was not only forgiving, but sprang into action. My shin splints had all but DISAPPEARED. I proceeded to run 2 nearly painless 11 minute miles in the hills of Pittsburgh with little pain or effort. The next morning, my calves felt completely normal.
I have several lower leg issues due to soccer and I loved the look of these shoes. Nike is notorious for making shoes that are too narrow, ESPECIALLY CLEATS, so I was very much hesitant about buying these. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that not only does the Flyknit handle my wider feet well, but it feels perfect. I also stand a lot and find these are probably the most comfortable shoes Iāve worn. During the light runs Iāve done in these, they really cushion impact so its great for my arches and shins. GG Nike.PS: People compliment me a lot on these suckers haha. A co-worker went out and ordered the BHM edition!
