Pros: Expertly balanced and super responsive like a sports car. A lot of mid foot support and structure. Very, durable material, super breathable. Almost no break in time. The Zoom Court NXTs did everything I needed them to do on the court and more. What I first noticed when I started playing with them was how great the weight balance was. Although it doesn’t feel like it’s a light shoe when in your hands, on feet, the weight distribution makes it feel lighter than other physically lighter tennis shoes I have. I think it’s due to the majority of the weight being right under the arch of the feet, and the lightweight cotton/mesh material being on the fore front of your shoe.Performance wise, it’s less bouncy than other shoes, but what I feel it gives you is more agility and responsiveness. I felt like I was able to attack and react super easily. The mid sole is constructed to really hug your foot so you’re able to glide and react on a dime. The heel cup is thick which ads a decent amount of support. The design looks absolutely amazing. I kept getting people asking me about the shoes, and eyes would glance down at them when I was walking. The nike swoosh on the outside is a thick stitch logo which adds some great dimension to the shoe.I’m 5’10” 210 lbs, with a decently wide foot, and these felt decently wider than my normal nike shoes, so I would try on a half size smaller than your normal Nike size.

Ok, so first things first. I didn't hit the tennis courts in these (yet) but I did hit the floor in my local gym, outside on the road, and all manners of wooden floors. This sneaker has great support with the integrated flyplate and it flexed and gripped the aforementioned surfaces with ease. Taking them out of the box they felt heavy, stiff and clunky but to my surprise they were actually quite comfortable. I have a narrow heal and a bit wider than average forefoot. My typical shoe size for Nike is 10.5 and the occasional 11 when my toes need a bit more room. I found that the heel was a bit loose but the toe box fit perfectly. Tightening the laces helped secure them from falling off my feet but my heel still had some obvious space to fill. It’s not too distracting and was able to get used to the fit after a few days but I’m not sure how that would translate when used for what it was intended for which is playing tennis. I would imagine that such a fast paced and high impact sport would require a perfect fit. I would imagine that such a fast paced and high impact sport would require a perfect fit. In any case, for an all day casual walking shoe, these more than fit the bill. That’s probably because of the so-called “flyplate” that strikes the balance of support and bounce which gives just the right amount of springiness to your step. The design of the shoe falls in line with Nike’s aesthetic. Nothing too out of their wheelhouse here. The upper actually reminds me of some their designs from the 90s which is sort of making a comeback. So it’s quite on trend. Personally though, I’m not a big fan of the color combo of this light powder blue and reflective pink. I had to double check that these were men’s shoes but hey, we’re in the age of blurred gender norms so more power to you if you can pull these off in public. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t limit myself to monochromatic color schemes and have been known to wear some loud colors, it’s just these in particular are not my cup of tea.Nike has a ton of comfortable and style kicks so what makes these different? I must say for these, the smallest of details is what made them stick out, quite literally actually. At the top of the tongue, there’s this loop of what looks similar to shoe laces that really helps putting the shoes on and adjust the tongue to that oh-so-perfect sweet spot. I didn’t expect how much I liked this detail. I wouldn’t call it a game changer but I appreciated its inclusion. Otherwise, there’s not much to hate about these perfectly serviceable pair of shoes. I just think that there are other shoes in the Nike line that are just as or more comfortable and better looking.

I purchased these shoes earlier this year with high expectations of a Nike product. They were light and fit well. However, after the very first use, I noticed substantial wear on both the toe and front portion of the sole. After literally only playing 3 or4 more patches, the shoes had already work through at the toe, and with one more match, also wore through at the bottom. I thought, surely this is a defect...but no, after sending these to Nike (6 weeks after my purchase), they declined a replacement and said the product functioned as designed. If that's the design, it's a poor one. No more Nike's for me.
This shoe is great for playing on the hardcourt, whether it be tennis or racquetball. A few of the things that impressed me about this shoe. First, the Zoom Air Unit really added an amazing amount of cushion when wearing. Especially, when playing racquetball, the shoe helped alleviate the stress on your foot when running all over the court. Second, the Flyplate really helped stabilize my feet while playing and prevented any nasty ankle rolls or missteps. Third, the overall build quality is fantastic. This is a well built shoe and the materials really help keep the shoe light so it wont drag you down during your game. Finally, the design is super sleek and I love the color way. The combination of the turquoise swoosh on the white canvas, along with the minor details such as the back stitch on the heel and subtle white circles on the forefoot, really set this shoe apart from the competitors. That being said, there was one con I did have with this shoe. Due to the Flyplate, I would not recommend wearing this shoe outside of the tennis or racquetball court. When you do so, casual walking feels a bit strange since the Flyplate is very stabilizing. Because of this, if you plan to wear these shoes during a game or match, I would recommend you bring them separately and lace them up when you are about to step onto the court.Apart from my one con, I love this shoe for playing tennis or racquetball!
The Nike Zoom Court NXT shoes are an incredibly comfortable shoe to wear. The sneakers are well-made and sturdy. The extra padding throughout the shoe ensures a comfortable step for whoever chooses to wear them. The mesh shoe and rubber back establish a lightweight shoe that is a blessing to wear for an entire day. I love the white and red colors. One of my favorite features is the gap in between the sole of my foot and the sole of the shoe. It creates an extra protection to my foot in case I accidentally step on a rock and it cushions the impact. I also love that this shoe has great grip. These shoes would be able to withstand everyday use, even in the toughest of environments. The one complaint I have is that the shoe can get dirty quickly. Thanks to the Stellar Panel for providing me with this sneaker to test and review!
The Nike Court NXT fits almost true to size and gives a considerable amount of spacing at the toe box area, especially for those with wide feet This can be advantageous to players who make a lot of lateral movement on the tennis courts.Design of the shoe is interesting, as it takes cues from certain basketball sneakers. One of the disadvantages of the design is that the the white, mesh-like and circular pattern is very hard to clean. Aesthetically, The overall look is quite bulky as well, and personally feels a little hard to wear casually with joggers or match with a pair of jeans. Color blocking is a little bit bland in my opinion. The shoe itself is comfortable, however, it does pinch at the foot’s metatarsal area. I can see this being can bothersome to many who have wide feet. After wearing for long periods of time, I could feel the soreness on my feet at the end of the day. What I liked most about this shoe is the grip on the outsole and the zoom comfort. When playing tennis, the grip provides optimal traction on hardcourt surfaces, making it ideal for cuts to the net during a volley return. Zoom at the forefoot of the shoe provides comfort at the tip of the toes and extra bounce so you can stay ready and prepared. I didn’t feel as much response in the back heel. Performance wise, this is a great tennis shoe but has flaws. What I would change most about the shoe is it’s bulkiness as well as its very basic and simplistic design.
Received yesterday. This Court Zoom NXT is much better than Vapor react nxt or vapor pro. I always had issue with upper of those shoes. Both vapor pro and vapor react nxt has hard upper and my toe and toenail was keep breaking and causing pain due to their upper design and shape. However, I am glad that nike came back to mesh upper like Vapor X. Very breathable upper and my feet does not hurt anymore and very comfort. Also midsole zoom air unit is very plush (you may not feel plush as GP turbo since zoom nxt's zoom air unit because they place in forefoot instead of heel) but this decision help me to quickly move around, split step, and foot work. I think this shoes (Court Zoom NXT) is better in performance for match. Because this shoe is very responsive, more lighter than GP turbo, more breathable than cage, and vapor nxt. Also outsole is unique waffle pattern (not herringbone patter as usual). It grips very well on each step and I think it may more durable too. Only down side is less cushion on heel, but it is definitely worth trying. Also sizing is little bigger than regular Nike tennis shoes. it runs little wider and big. I wear 8.5 for Vapor X (fits very well), but I wear 8 (half size down), but still more relax fit than vapor x. However I feel that this shoe does not lock and fit good as Vapor X. More relax fit. However I think vapor X (not pro, I hate vapor pro's fit) hold your fit better than this shoes, but if you have wider foot, I think it is good option for you. This is my third favorite shoes after original Zoom Vapor 9.5 and X.
So first, I would like to say I was surprised by these because I don't play tennis. I'm basing this off of every day use from home and work. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to give them a performance review in regards to playing tennis. I work an office job, so I've been wearing them there. I like them because they're light and comfortable for all day use. They are snug though, especially around the arch area, and I think a half size up for myself would've been better. Aside from that, I actually do like the shoe. I like the silhouette and design. The knit material on the uppers is comfortable and has a cool design. It provides a good contrast to my wardrobes color pallette, which is usually black. I'm a fan of the shoe now and have made them a part of my shoe rotation.
Got to say this is a great shoe, out of the box you can tell this is a very comfortable shoe. The upper is a nice knit material that requires no break in time and offers a comfy feel. This material isn't made for durability so if you are a heavy foot/toe dragger these may not be the best option. Traction is good and seems to be holding up well. The zoom air is great, not a surprise as some of my favorite hoop shoes have used it. Comfortable but also very responsive. Speaking of responsive, these shoes feel very fast on court, which is a little surprising because they're not a very light shoe yet on foot they feel and play really light. Fit is good, if you are getting your true size (I suspect a lot people don't actually wear their true size), because the materials ... MoreGot to say this is a great shoe, out of the box you can tell this is a very comfortable shoe. Fit is good, if you are getting your true size (I suspect a lot people don't actually wear their true size), because the materials are so soft, the shoe will accommodate your foot if you go down in size. My only complaint about the shoe is the mid foot shank - the plastic part above the midsole plate can dig into the side of my foot and be very uncomfortable if my laces are tied tight. However, loosening the laces resolves that issue without sacrificing stability. The perfect blend of comfort and performance, I had been playing in the GT Turbos and while comfortable, compared to these the GTs feel very slow. Also play in the air zoom vapor pros and those are very speedy and have some comfort but not near as much comfort nor quite as stable. The Court Zoom NXTs are a home run. Put out more cool color ways and I will keep buying.
