My first impression of these cleats came before I even opened the package. I knew they were coming in the mail, but when they did, I thought the package must contain something else because it was much too light to be a pair of shoes, especially sport shoes. I was wrong. These are the lightest, best designed cleats I have ever ownedâno extra weight to drag you down as you zip around the soccer field.They do run a bit small and narrow compared to regular shoes, so measure carefully, and especially if you have a wider foot, you may want to size up. The fit of the shoe is great. They feel tight in all of the right places, giving a feeling of confidence that the shoe is secure and will stay on during training. Personally I have a wider foot so a wide variety as an option would be better for me. The design is perfect. The shoe looks slick and cool. They will easily match any uniform. I wore these for a two hour training session on turf and never felt uncomfortable in them. The cleats performed well until the stitching fell apart and the sides ripped. Purchased in Aug 2023 and attempted to return for credit in May 2023. It was denied as the "tags" were not inside the shoe. Apparently buying them thru the Nike App with proof of purchase does not matter or a database showing when the shoe was created, the inspectors need the "tag" to tell them. If the stitching DID NOT fail maybe the tag would still be affixed to the interior. So,I am now out $260.00 for a pair of cleats that NIKE will not honor as defective as I head to college. Word of caution to all, save the "TAGS" if the stitching fails so you can get a possible credit. WOW, if they only put that on the website for all to know how to handle when their product fails. Had to be patient & wait for my sons size to come back into stock.. eventually they did & ordered them to be delivered to my local store. They arrived alot quicker than expected & my son absolutely adores his new boots but my only gripe ( & it was exactly the same as last year with an equally expensive pair of footie boots) is that the they box that they arrive in is absolutely battered. Ripped, crushed & bent. Its a teal shame that this keeps happening because my son likes to keep them in the boxes but it just looks horrible & unsightly. You would think paying ÂŁ250 for a pair of boots that u would at least get something nice to keep them in.

Firstly, the insole was not attached or kept in place in any way, I found that by the time I was done playing, it wasnât even underneath parts of my foot which is very distracting and uncomfortable while playing. Other models of the mercurial had solved this issue by flying down the insole or having grooves it could lock in with. The overall durability of this model compared to previous one was quite low as well. With the college soccer schedule comes a great deal of wear and tear, but with these it was much quicker. While I haven't weighed them, they feel much heavier then a same sized pair my son has. Additionally, even after weeks of playing in them, they do not feel malleable like many cleats do on the foot. The still feels somewhat padded and stiff. Where these cleats are great is that the fit is superb, it is snug but not too tight around the foot, the stud pattern is nice, they look top notch, and best of all, my son doesn't have any issues with comfort in heal, ankle, and basically the whole thing.
