He is also very stable! I skate him for 3 weeks and he has hardly any signs of use. The only thing that is torn are the laces (I do not understand why Nike does not use the ghillie lacing as in the Shane Oneil shoe everywhere!)The upper is much less grippy than one would first assume - it took me a bit to get used to it. Otherwise, the shoe has very good flip properties.Unfortunately, I can not say so much about the side protection, I make my Heelflips rather with the lateral tip of the foot and not with the heel or outside.I am curious how long the sole will last.So far I am very satisfied with the purchase of this shoe.

I'm just about to buy my 3rd pair of Nyjah 3. Even though I liked the 2 better, the 3 is currently the only shoe that comes into question for me.Most sneakers are too clunky for me. I don't like thick soles or a \bulky\ shoe in general Shoe. The Nyjah fits close to the foot, almost like a diving shoe. I have very wide feet and, as the previous speaker criticized, the shoe is very tight. However, it expands over time, so much so that at some point I was able to slip into it without a shoehorn. This wasn't the case in the first few weeks, so don't be put off by the tightness. Otherwise, a very stable shoe. My first pair was worn regularly and is 1 year old. There is NO damage. Only the light-colored outer material is discolored, which is no surprise.

A shoe with potential but it's way too narrow

When it comes to the fit and feel of Nike SB Zoom NYJAH 3, I think they look like a great pair of shoes. "Hot punch" is not my color but I could still appreciate the look and I could think of a few outfits or events that would call for this color. Unfortunately, as I put on the shoe, I could not imagine wearing it for long periods of time because it is narrow. I tried to loosen the laces as much as possible but it still did not compare to other Nikes that I have worn previously these are too narrow for comfort and feels like it can improve in its width.For the most part the shoe looks nice but I am not feeling the clear plastic portion as much as the rest of the shoe. If you have narrow feet MAYBE you'll have a better experience.When it comes to changes, I would make this shoe wider and that alone would help in the comfort department for this shoe. I get shoes sized normally so it's not like I have wide feet. If that gets rectified I would surely get the creamish colorway of this shoe.

Somehow even lighter, more breathable, and just as durable as ever.

Rather than a traditional canvas or leather build, this shoe has a rubbery shell for an upper which should offer a lot of protection and durability. For enhanced retention, the top eyelets are on these floating wings that remind me of Jordan 4s. I love the bold color on my pair which is a big attention getter.I don’t use these to skateboard, I actually use these shoes to ride my bikes with flat pedals. Lightweight and comfy but takes a moment to break in

Nike's SB line is always in my wardrobe for function and flexibility so I was curious how the NYJAH 3 would compare to other Nike SB shoes. I expected them to be comfortable but I was surprised with how light the shoes felt. Usually with other SB shoes, you can feel the weight of the sole but with the NYJAH 3, the weight was not noticeable at all. Style-wise, this was a departure from other SB lines I usually wear which are more subdued. This had a lot more personality in terms of the collar and way the upper part of the outside of the shoe looks. It has a sportier look but still blends some simplicity you'd expect with skateboarding shoes. Boom! I open up the box and I’m hyped to see the purple SB box. As I reveal the shoes I was delighted by the hot pink color and I knew it would be perfect for summertime and more adventurous outfits. The following day when I was able to wear them I immediately discovered the snug fit. If the shoes were any smaller my foot would not fit but, this creates a lock down sensation which is necessary while skating. My foot feels super secure inside the shoe and I think there is adequate padding around the heel and tongue to make it not feel squeezed but rather secure. The plastic elements surrounding the heel and focused around the lower ankle connected with the laces help further create lock down and the low profile of the sneakers make them sturdy and stable. Another element of the sneaker i had never seen before was the rubber like covering over the mesh around the toe box and upper which makes the sneaker very durable. Futhermore, the first day I wore them casually for 6-8 hours and had no issues. They didn’t become uncomfortable, and I really loved the design aspects that make them a fun summer shoe due to the bright color way. The following day I wore them to skate at my local skate park and they had good board feel and traction making me feel secure in using them. The shoes had great flexibility and I’ve been using them to skate everytime now. The only minor inconvenience I’ve had with the shoes is that it is ever so slightly difficult to put on, but it comes with the trade off that once they’re are on your foot feels like it is 100% secured and there is no way they are moving off. There is no extra room around any part of my foot and makes it solid as can be. Overall I am very happy with the shoes and can’t wait to wear them in more and more, the pink pop of color helps brighten up my outfits and standout at the skatepark from the traditionally dull skateboarding colors.

Vans are hard to beat, but these do, easily!

They were a little stiff on my first few wears right out of the box but they loosened up after a few days.
