These are the most amazing pair of Nikes I own. It’s like they took all the issues I’ve had in other shoes and said, not today fam. The cushion and bounce in these shoes is so good, I haven’t had knee issues once walking around, so that’s saying a lot. The ankle pad in the back helps my foot from feeling like it’s going to pop out of the shoe, and also helps from rubbing. There was zero “break-in” time with these, they felt perfectly conformed the first time I wore them. The knit is stretchy enough and breathable, and the design of the shoelaces keep them from untying. My only concern right now is the foam, which in Nike shoes tends to run down pretty quick. Anyway, I raved so much about these my boyfriend bought a pair (he is very particular with his sneakers) and he is now hooked. Please don’t ever get rid of these.

Upon opening the box and my first impressions were the aerodynamic design of the shoe and how light they were in my hand. As a runner, I found those details important for my daily runs. I did find the shoes to run small. I received my normal size 6 and I found them a bit tight in the length.I found the Nike Zoom Vaporfly Next to be very comfortable and were a great asset to my runs. The padded heel provided extra cushion, however, I feel it contributed to the tightness in length. The toe box was roomy and a good fit.I do recommend the Nike Zoom Vaporfly Next, but I would caution that I felt it was a half size too small. I have heard a lot of hype around these shoes and all I can say is WOW they did not disappoint. They have a very new age, non-traditional running shoe look but they deliver. I usually wear a women's 10 in running shoes and a 9.5 in racing shoes as I like my racing shoes a little more snug. The first time I wore these I was wearing cotton socks and got some pain at the end of one of my toes. The next time I wore thinner socks and had no pain or issues. The shoes have great cushion and support despite being very lightweight. They felt like they kept my feet rolling (if that makes sense), keeping me in a more efficient foot strike and I don't have a very efficient foot strike. I don't know if it was coincidence, mental placebo or what, but the first easy run I did in these I was at least 5-10 seconds faster per mile while feeling like I was running at my usual easy run pace. All in all I am very pleased with these shoes. I'll have to see how long they hold up as I plan to use them for racing and training alike.
