Designed for people with extremely narrow feet. If you have a regular width foot your arch will hang over the shoe. Very little stability and ankle support as a result. Returned immediately.

I wore my new ZoomX Vaporfly Next% 2 for my first ultra marathon (50km). The fit, comfort and response is phenomenal. I did not have to "break them in" As far as the fit goes, this shoe is clearly slightly WIDER in the toe box than the Vaporfly 1 which I tried on last year (but didn't purchase). I have a narrow foot but I like my toes to spread out. Great cushioning; I love the softness of the ZoomX while the carbon fiber plate keeps the shoe from being mushy gushy. I felt and appreciated the springy feeling and I was ale to lengthen my stride as I ran faster. BTW I shaved 44 mins off my marathon time from last year (training, nutrition and maybe the gear :) ) My ultra time was not too shabby for a noobie too :)Definitely recommend these shoes for racing. Typically I haven't loved running in Nike shoes, but after reading so many reviews and speaking to other users, I had to give them a shot. Initially didn't love how they felt when I put them on in the house. They are super light, but felt so stiff on my feet. Once I got outside and started my first run in them, I got it. There is an energy return with each foot strike that I would have never believed possible. Wore them this past weekend for my first race in them and had one of my fastest races in a long time.
I am over the moon grateful for these running shoes! Ok - that wasn't nearly covering the emotion: ECSTATIC! Let me tell you why: Number One - I have lots and lots of foot issues, ranging from neuroma on both feet to multiple bone spurs front and back to lord knows what else - oh! That would be severe arthritis! AND I was beyond myself. I hate cranky, but that's what I was. I LOVE joyful and that's what I wasn't - UNTIL I FOUND YOU!!! I now can walk! I've easily decreased my race pace time by 3 minutes wearing these. The technology Nike has incorporated into the Vaporfly is guaranteed to give you a better race time. I recommended this shoe to another friend who was skeptical and wasn't too fond of the cost, but after purchasing and using them for a race, he decreased his time by 2 and a half minutes and became hooked. With that said, be mindful that this shoe should be used for heavy race training days and race days. I would highly recommend reserving another pair for slow long milage days because the material does wear a lot faster than other shoes. It’s my 3rd pair of these trainers. Knew they would be suitable, just need led to confirm the half size bigger was ok. The store kept the shoe until I arrived home and could come try it on.
I bought these shoes at a discount. Sadly these shoes do not work out for me.The shoes are made small compared to the other Nike running shoes. If your regular Nike running shoes are a 6, get these ones in a size 7.I'm a long-distance runner and I ran many marathons. I own a few Aphafly Next % and now looking for some changes. I read some reviews about these shoes and decided to go for them. Apparently, these shoes are not made for me. I don't have wide feet but after 4 miles run on these shoes. It gave a blister on the side of my big toe (next to the bunion).I have to say these shoes are super light-weight, have a great color selection, and great style. A little firmer. I'm a lightweight woman and I like a little more cushion and a lot of support.
I custom ordered these shoes and was planning on wearing them during my first marathon I’m currently training for. However, I just do not like them. The sole is weird and unbalanced, there isn’t any extra toe area, and they make me feel like a duck every time I hit the ground. They are not comfortable and in no way do I think the carbon steel plate helps… such a strange shoe.
