Easily the most comfortable tennis shoe I have tried. I don't even have to break them in--instant clouds on my feet. My first pair only last about 5 months but these shoes come with a 6 month sole warranty which is awesome.

Innovation and incredible design make this a superior tennis shoe with amazing cosmetics as well.. Love the new lacing system which helps this shoe fit like a glove. Lots of cushion along with a snug fit around the foot make it great for a hard court surface. Plenty of room in the toe area and a secure feeing in the heel with lots of support. I think this shoe will be around for a while.A terrific new product from Nike..

I bought this shoe a few weeks ago and really like the comfort. I normally wear a 10.5 but needed to go to a 10.0 for correct sizing. I have narrow feet and the lacing of the shoe makes it hard to tighten. I would get another pair in the future.

-Comfortable and superbly cushioned-Abrasion protection is adequate and in the right spots-Integrated tongue conforms to the foot due to well placed elastic complement-Rear outsole design attenuates landing-Sacrifices weight for padding-This is a tennis specific shoe, do not expect comfort for walking or any other activity-Good lateral stability-Resist abrasion better than any of the other tennis specific shoes-Rec play durability: 6+ months. Highly skilled play durability: 4+ weeks
What initially attracted me to Zoom Cage shoes was the 6-month outsole guarantee. I used to wear out some other shoes in a month or so, and I'm not that rich :-) Zoom Cage gives me about 4 month of play. And I weigh around 190lbs and play pretty much every day. So I assume a lighter person who plays a two-three times a week will get a lot more out of them.No other shoes I tried (adidas Barricade being the latest attempt) last as long. Barricades lasted about a month less. They also mention 6-month guarantee on their site, but they backed out of it when I submitted a claim (simply said this guarantee doesn't exist, although their website says otherwise!). Had no problems with Nike. Got my fresh pair of shoes a couple of times when I managed to wear them out in six ... MoreWhat initially attracted me to Zoom Cage shoes was the 6-month outsole guarantee. Had no problems with Nike. Got my fresh pair of shoes a couple of times when I managed to wear them out in six months.I wouldn't say these shoes compromise on comfort in any way. I still rank them among the most comfortable shoes I tried.I had a couple of pairs of Zoom Cage 3, now went through 4 or 5 pairs of Zoom Cage 4. And I plan to come back for more.
I find the Nike Zoom Vapor Cage 4 in the Black Volt color very appealing. However, during the first sessions the shoe felt extremely rigid, heavy and inflexible, in fact, it made me think that I was wearing a pair of trekking boots. After a couple of sessions it has changed though, but I do not feel the same type of break-in as I do with running shoes. The sock like design is ok, but its thick and makes the shoe extremely warm. The foot was locked in, although I have to tighten the lacers firmly to avoid any heel-slip. The vapor cage 4 runs rather big. I have a neutral foot and would normally opt for a size US 11 in Nike running shoes, however, I got this in size US 10 1/2 and still it feels a little big, I can actually wear insoles in these shoes with no issues. ... MoreI find the Nike Zoom Vapor Cage 4 in the Black Volt color very appealing. I have a neutral foot and would normally opt for a size US 11 in Nike running shoes, however, I got this in size US 10 1/2 and still it feels a little big, I can actually wear insoles in these shoes with no issues. This is why I would recommend sizing down 1/2 size if you have a neutral or narrow foot. Although the shoe looks small on the outside, it actually feels big, but yet again a bit narrow. I did feel that my foot was "sliding" inside once in a while on the court, but not an issue. This shoe is being praised for cushioning, however, I do not not feel that the show is that comfortable and I find the use of materials and thickness rather exaggerated. When it comes to durability these shoes are certainly going to last, but still I find that the shoe could be stripped from materials while maintaining the same durability while making it lighter and more flexible. During a tournament with several matches, or between training, I would only use the shoes while on the court. The shoe is extremely warm, in particularly in warmer climates, +25 C., I would actually recommend wearing slippers when not playing on the court. Overall the shoe looks appealing and for sure it finds great popularity, but personally I prefer something lighter, with a more forgiving and flexible fit that can speed me up and make me jump a little higher on the court. I might opt for a Nike vapor pro next time or as a replacement.
I talked myself down from buying a proper tennis shoe for a long time. I reasoned that I have plenty of "athletic" shoes and am not a "competitive" player. I wish I hadn't. These feel so much better on the court and will be much more durable. I wear a size 12 in most shoes, but I feel like I could have gotten away with an 11.5 in these. If you like a "snugger" fit, that is something to consider.
Have used these for Pickleball and Platform Tennis. They feel stable, have good cushion and provide support of my ankles.
Shoe didn't even last a single season of moderate tennis play. I am a recreational tennis player and on average I probably play 5 hours of tennis per week on composite courts. Shoe already showing signs of distressed. Reached junk status very quickly.
Durable and comfortable tennis shoe, with a 6 month outsole guarantee. Provides good support and traction, a little heavier than their other models but they last longer.
