The goldfinch had a deep crimson mask around its beak, a black headband and brilliant yellow flashes under its wings, clear as a photograph 30 metres away, two crowd were waging war on a huge hawk, 150 metres away, the red arrows flew over - all in crisp beautiful focus, all in just a few momemts.... A world I've never seen in this clarity.

Bino's are clear light easy to use. A bird watchers dream when on a budget. They do punch above there weight. Very Happy
I picked these up right before elk season this year. They are clear, gather good light at dawn and dusk, great product for the money. Clearer than several more expensive binos I tried in a side by side comparison.
My husband and I live near a wooded area. We are retired and decided to take up bird watching. The binoculars we purchased at Cabela's are excellent for that task. Nikon Prostaff is easy to see with the eyeglass adjustment. Both of us wear glasses. The staff at Cabela's were wonderful to work with.
These binoculars are very clear the eye cups stay in place and don't overlook around. Very high quality i use them for 3d archery they are superb. Super performance.
I bought them after being frustrated with my old binoculars that were difficult to focus and lacked sharpness. These were perfect for the use that I purchased them for which is mostly watching college football. Perhaps also some bird watching. They came with a bag but fit perfectly into a Domke bag purchased many years ago from B and H for my first digital camera.
I wanted to buy a new set of binocs to replace a pair I bought from Cabelas 15 years ago. They needed to be compact, lighter in weight and easy to use while wearing eyeglasses. I did my homework and took off for my local Cabelas store with several options in mind. While in the store the sales associate was very helpful and guided me toward what "I said I needed'. Once home I tested my new "compact" binocs against the old set and was frankly disappointed. The new "compact" pair although well made only matched the output of the older pair and I found them hard to focus while wearing glasses and the settings to be very sensitive. Disappointed I returned the "new set" to the store and while there was shown the Prostaff 5's. Although still in a smaller frame than my old ... I know what I like and so do my eyes! Compared these with every 10x50 in the case, high end and low. These babies stand out for, light gathering, clarity, compactness and price. Love em!
