I have a 5 month mini australien shepherd and he still love this puzzle (but last 30 sec or less). This was his first puzzle and we got this one when he was 2 month old. He figured the puzzle in less than 2 minutes. Pros : - good quality - 2 diversity of action slide and push - level really beginner - do not move - easy to wash Cons : - the pivot are a little bit to easy to turn

My dog figured this out so quickly and then was bored of it. He broke off a few of the fins on it. I had to put treats under it on the floor just to keep him engaged a little longer. I wish I would of gotten a higher stage. This one was just to simple. He loved it at first but then he just stopped wanting to engage with it since it was so easy and simple for him. It is awesome watching him figure it out when I first got it for him. Animals are so smart!!

My two dogs love the Nina Ottosson dog puzzles….we had two already (Dog Brick and Dog Worker) and they both wanted more, so ordered a third one (The Hide N Slide). It’s a level two difficulty but my four month old puppy was able to solve the puzzle first go, due to her experience with the first two puzzles. This is how she gets her breakfast biscuits now: by working the three puzzles we have. My other dog is a giant wolfhound, a rescue dog and terribly intelligent. Both dogs really enjoy the challenge, it slows down gobble gutz and they never seem to tire of them. The puzzles come with suggestions for increasing the difficulty and challenge. We also bought a Snuffle Mat earlier and this is a life saver to keep both dogs busy and settled when I have visitors. Dog treat puzxle

Wonderful! My Golden had to work her 10 yr old brain the first time around, but now she has it completely figured out! I use kibble from her meal allotment, so she doesn’t get too many treats. But now, she even goes back a few minutes after eating to make sure she didn’t miss anything!

Easy, fun puzzle
31 December 2021

My 6 month old puppy loves this puzzle toy. Only issue is it is way too easy for him to figure out. I was hoping it would keep him entertained longer than 1 minute! The fins are too easy to move. It seems durable and has held up well considering my puppy scratches at it and bites the parts. I will continue to use it but will be buying one that will be a little more difficult for him.

Great puzzle
12 February 2021

I have two golden retrievers that love this puzzle! It is not the most challenging, but each dogs ability is different. This brand offers three different stages of puzzles; it is important to not start out with the hardest ones. They can be VERY frustrating and you want to get your dogs to love puzzles, it’s great mental stimulation for them when the weather keeps us inside more than usual. It also works well to slow down meal times for the little one that gobbles his food up very quickly. We are well on our way to owning all of the Nina Ottoson dog puzzles. Love them!

Less than 2 minutes

Bought this for my 7 mo Queensland Heeler. Put a few training treats in each hole, covered it with the flap and then put the slide against the flap to make sure he had to do the two motions to get the treats. He had the first flap open in about 15 seconds. The flaps and slides have zero resistance so he didn't have to work to get them open. This might be great for a very young pup that doesn't have great coordination yet but for 24$ I expected this to be more challenging.

Sturdy and fun
19 December 2022

I bought this to give our dog a little more enrichment in his life. He's always been a nose and paws on learner and took to this immediately! He loves sniffing out his regular kibble. He has a tendency to try to brute force his way through puzzles but this has no removable pieces and has been sturdy so far. Great puzzle for all sizes

Too Easy!
6 February 2023

Apparently I have a REALLY smart malingator who was able to complete this puzzle in about 2 minutes! The flippers slide quite easily so they were no problem for her. Eesh! Need to step up to a more difficult puzzle. (She did enjoy those 2 minutes).

Waaaay too easy
17 November 2021

It’s called intermediate but its no where near even easy. It’s my dogs first “mind game” and he got all the snacks in less than two minutes. I tried hiding them under the slide, under the “leaf” and basically any method and it was too easy for him to get…Not worth it for $25. Quality is good and pieces are sturdy, but it’s marketed as something difficult, which it definitely isn’t.
