I use this now more than my Vitamix blender or Cuisinart food processor. It’s powerful and just the right size for most of my food prep needs. The thing I like most about it is that it has blades from bottom to top of the unit. When I blend/chop things, the food is nicely dispersed instead of being pushed and compacted at the bottom of the chopping container. Because the blades slip out so easily, it’s simple to use a spatula to scrape out every last bit without having to negotiate sharp stationary blades, like in the Vitamix. This also makes it dead simple to clean. surprising. It’s powerful, small and incredibly versatile. Love it!!!

I don't cook a lot, and I was looking for a small chopper to help me when I do. I used to think it was too much trouble to get a chopper out, use it, wash it, put it away, etc. Now that I have this one I actually cook a little more. I can't believe how fast it is, how efficient, and how evenly it chops %26 dices! Even tomatoes for tacos without getting squishy! The double blade helps a lot. It's a large enough container but compact. I chopped a large chicken breast (cut in a few smaller pieces) with 4 quick pulses. It washes in a few seconds, and there's a lid to store extra. I bought another for a gift for someone who has the same issues I do. Love it!!

Cracks develop in food vessel and cleaning
27 June 2024

I am very disappointed in the Ninja Express Chop. I use it multiple times daily to puree food for my mother. It does that nicely, however in three different ones, I have had tiny cracks develop inside the food vessel. I had two of the same model that I used simultaneously to prepare the food faster. Both had these cracks after less than a year, so I bought a new one to replace them that I received 15 days ago. Today I discovered three cracks in the food vessel. The washable parts have always been carefully washed by hand. I do not have a dishwasher.Although they are minor, there should not be cracks in the plastic where micro plastics can escape into the food. The other issue that I have is the mechanical part comes in contact with the food and cleaning is is a ... MoreI am very disappointed in the Ninja Express Chop. Despite that I liked the unit well enough to purchase it again and used dental pics to clean the crevices where food may have entered the mechanical part. I will not purchase this again though because of the vessel cracks.

I LOVE THIS CHOPPER!!!!
12 March 2024

I home make my dog's food and using a knife and even a kitchen shears has always been time consuming and painful for my right hand/wrist due to nerve and tendon issues. Ninja Express Chopper dices the cooked chicken and veggies in 30 seconds vs 1/2 hour to 45 minutes it used to take me hand cutting everything! Be careful of the sharp cutting blade when washing! The Ninja Express Chopper has been a Godsend for me ... and JLo, my border collie 😂. I haven't had a chance yet to use it to dice and chop up food for me yet. If you do a lotvof cooking which requires minced, diced, or puree ingredients, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this chopper! It was certainly $23 worth spent!

It's Awesome -- Great Value, Lots of Power!
18 October 2024

This little guy definitely gets the job done. I have an immersion blender with a mini-chop attachment, and I limped along with it for a while, but my Ninja blows it out of the water! I've used it about 1/2 dozen times so far, for everything from nuts to hummus. My only complaint is that there's only one blade for it. It's a good blade, but I'd like to see maybe shredding and slicing disks, so that I can use it more like a miniature food processor (which is how I think of it). Maybe they do? I'll have to check with Ninja. Still, I'm very happy with my purchase of this little powerhouse, and I think it's a great value.

Pleasantly Impressed

Being single, I wanted a food processor that is not restaurant sized. Came across this using your search engine. The size was perfect- but the "infomercial" name brand is usually mainly hype.Easy to assemble. Very easy to use. Spectacular results. I made a compound butter that turned out smooth, homogenous- restaurant quality!Clean up is very easy- except the motorized top is a little difficult because you can't submerge it. Ended up using a dish brush- and presto! Can't wait to make a presto!I do recommend this product- for those who need a smaller processor.

Prop 65 Cancer Warning ruined my love of Ninja products
6 November 2023

I've been a devoted supporter of Shark and Ninja, both under the same company, admiring their top-notch, durable products. However, my trust faltered upon finding the Proposition 65 cancer warning on my Ninja Blender, Chopper, and Foodie, extending to all plastic components like blender pitchers and cups. While discussing this with customer service, I learned that the Prop 65 Warning applied to all plastic elements in the Ninja product line, revealing the presence of cancer-causing compounds. I had hoped my $150 investment in a Ninja blender guaranteed safety, but there's no such thing as truly safe plastic. Plastics, derived from petroleum, inherently contain cancer-causing compounds, with the "BPA-free" label providing little reassurance due to other harmful ... MoreI've been a devoted supporter of Shark and Ninja, both under the same company, admiring their top-notch, durable products. The FDA's approval of these compounds fosters a false sense of security, concealing the full extent of the damage until it's too late to act. I share this as an attentive consumer, realizing that if I missed it, many others likely did too.

Review of Ninja Express chopper.
16 December 2024

Bought this to replace my ultimate chopper after reviews on YouTube. Had the ultimate chopper for years and it was powerful and would chop about anything but it didn't have much capacity. Despite its small footprint the express chopper has a larger capacity and is also very powerful. The blades are extremely sharp, Don't ask me how I know that. Lol. Extremely easy to clean. Only used it a few times since I got it but so far so good. I would recommend it if you need something a little smaller than a full size chopper, and takes up a small footprint on your counter

Small but powerful with a minor flaw
13 January 2024

The compact size is perfect for a 1-2 person household and I have no doubt in its power. However, like some of the other reviewers have said, there’s this little hole/gap at the base of the top piece which traps food easily and it’s hard to clean. Some reviewers mentioned that they need to use Qtip everytime after using it and it’s true. Or sometimes even Q-tip is not small enough for that little gap. (The top piece is the motor so cannot be washed) if you don’t mind about that little gap that cannot be cleaned out thoroughly everytime, this processor is a good investment for your kitchen. Compact, powerful and reasonably priced.
