I was impressed with all the brewing options it offered, including pods.Personally I am a huge fan of iced coffee, so much so I drink it even when there is a snowstorm. I liked the over ice option enough, but didn't love it. What I realized is that I am an espresso person and this machine pulls a good one. The only qualm with it is that it only offers 4 oz, which does use a lot of beans and is a lot for one drink. What brought up the rating is the frother. I have family who loves hot brewed coffee and friends who are pod users. I also like that it's not too heavy, even though I do often appreciate good heft with machines. I’ll get what I didn’t like out of the way first. First of all, this brewer is replacing my Keurig Iced maker, and I was disappointed to learn upon unboxing it that they were not the same size but this was significantly longer, which caused a bit of an issue as it does not fit in the same place as my last brewer did. I also found the power cord short, which isn’t a problem on countertops but as this is next to my desk caused another issue. Finally, I also found the brewing chamber difficult to open, and a few times I’ve been afraid of causing damage to the product by opening it. Now to what I did like. I found the build quality very high and the product felt significantly heavier than my last brewer. This is by far the best cup of coffee I’ve gotten out of a pod-style brewer. I home brew a lot of different styles of drip coffee as well as regularly pull espresso, and this is the first cup of coffee from a pod I think even holds a candle in quality, flavor, and mouthfeel. Out of curiosity I made a comparison cup in my other machine, and using the same settings the cup tasted vegetal, which in my experience means that this machine has much more accurate brewing temperatures and methodologies internally, making for a much better end product. If you want to have the best coffee out of a pod style brewer and you don’t mind a few potential frustrations, I would absolutely recommend this product.

The coffee maker itself has so many different functions from specialty coffee to iced coffee. The coffee filter comes with two different types of basket so that you can use disposable pods refillable pods or a standard basket. To me this makes the coffee maker Supreme.
