After previously having a $600 Kitchen Maid that failed 2 months out of warranty this sub $200 Ninja does all and more than the more expensive unit. Ice crushing is a breeze and having the two container options is brilliant. The ability to remove the blades makes washing less fraught with the danger of opening up your fingers. As an all rounder the Ninja ticks all the boxes.

I bought this after much deliberation as I heard a few reviews stating how loud it was. I live in a unit block and was worried I would really annoy the neighbours. To be quite honest it was far from it. One reviewer stated that it has a lower tonal range than some other blenders have, and he was totally right about that. I couldn't be happier. The 1200 watt motor is more than strong enough to blend my mix of 1carrot cut in pieces, banana, celery, pear and spinach extremely smooth with no chunks or pieces floating. It also did the job in quite a fast time without it taking forever to blend. Best blender ever purchased.
It blends better then the competition. Has a motor auto sensor, so only puts as much power thru the motor as necessary for the blend. You can see it test blending for half a second several times before it blends continually for 60 seconds.It only has auto blend functions so you can't adjust it much, but the onboard computer seems to know what it is doing.Has a plastic blend container when I am used to (and prefer) a glass container but it seems to be strong enough. The plastic is probably poly carbonate.Used it about 10 times to blend partly frozen fruit.Overall would recommend.
I bought this for smoothies. It works well with the choice of small bullet or large jug. Both have lids with a pouring spout. Great for storage in the fridge. I tried pesto but the quantity did not move in the bullet. I transferred to my blender and was successfulOverall. It's great for my main intention.
The plastic pitcher has split along the edges and leaks liquid everywhere. The blender has barely been used and after a bit of research it seems to be a very common issue with these. Their website has been out of stock of replacement pitchers for months on end and has just 'had a glitch' allowing customers to order replacements even though they're not due in for another two months. Had to contact Ninja customer support to be told this after waiting over a week for the replacement to ship.
The blender works great so far. I have used both the attachments, the smaller one is a bit noisier than the blender itself. The blades are extremely sharp, would be good to see their performance after a few months. I like the material of the blender, looks sturdy. Easy to clean as the blade comes off easily.

I liked that it also included a single serve cup to blend in, especially because I live alone, and the standard container if I'm extra thirsty.I've used it once so far (a bit chilly for smoothies yet), and it's been fantastic. Haven't tried it with ice cubes yet, but I'm sure it'll do just fine. I like the suction cups on the bottom of the unit so it doesn't slip. It'll live on my bench once summer comes around so I don't have to pry 4 cups off the surface after every use. It's not as loud as I was expecting, since other reviews I've read on other sites said it was noisy.Provided it lasts a while, I'm a happy camper.
This is a solid, well made blender. The pitcher stays in one piece, so no little fidgety bits to deal with. Love the way the lid locks into place and pops off at the touch of a button.. Only 4 stars because it is not the best for making smoothies. . It doesnt liquify some ingredients well - but leaves it a bit gritty.
