It fit and did not leak as the original, although liquid DID pool outside around the TOP CENTER INSERT. But now, A NEW PROBLEM: the machine ran about 10 SECONDS and shut-down! I was told, the DRIVE SHAFT on my machine was worn and required replacement; the cost: $220 for repair or buy a Replacement Kit for $15.00 plus ridiculous shipping. Interestingly, placing the original pitcher back, caused NO SHUT-DOWN! Bringing my machine to a machine and tool shop, revealed NO WEAR on the drive shaftâsimply the blade shaft on the new pitcher was so tight, the drive shaft could not turn it! Vitamix âclaimsâ they manufacture their machines in Cleveland, OhioâI DO NOT BELIEVE THEY MANUFACTURE THEIR PITCHERS/CANISTERS THERE! Purchasing the Drive Shaft Kit, proved IMPOSSIBLE to install it due to a supposedly MISSING SCREW, which was non-existent! I sent back the KitâENOUGH!!!Recently, after a great deal of research, I purchased your NEW NINJA DETECT DUO POWER BLENDER MACHINE. THIS MACHINE IS ABSOLUTELY A SUPERB MASTERCLASS IN EASE OF USE, INNOVATION, MODERN TECHNOLOGICAL CREATIVITY DESIGN AND INCREDIBLE!! It is beautiful in appearance and absolutely WONDERFUL! The first few times I blended with it, we did notice a rather pungent, acrid, heated-electronics smell coming from the motor exhaust at the bottom of the blender, but it stopped smelling that way after a few cycles of blending were performed.The only thing I wish that this blender had in comparison to the last Ninja blender I had was a better cord management system for winding it up and stowing it away when the blender is not on our counter being used. The last Ninja smart blender we owned had a protruding rear vent port that was also handy for winding the cord around.Altogether, this very small complaint aside, we are extremely happy with our new Ninja Detect blender! It is a very handsome-looking appliance and is very tech-forward with its digital display and real-time feedback while blending. I was very surprised by Ninja when I felt the knobs cheap feel, they usually have solid switchgear on their stuff.Ice, veggies, fruit, nothing I put in there gave it any trouble. It makes great consistency of baby food, does a little bit of food processor duty with the chop functions, and is the best for making drinks with the included cups and blender head for the cups.This is the best blender Iâve ever used, it takes a little practice, itâs not magic, but itâs fully useful and a good value assuming that knob holds up.I would recommend it!

The blender sounded like it was struggling with 1.8kg of meat and ingredients, so I split the mix into 900g batches and it easily finished both batches. This created a nice, smooth, paste like consistency exactly as required. Clean up was easy, I placed some soapy water in the jug and ran it again, which removed almost all of the stuck ingredients leaving for a simple clean up afterwards
I came home from holiday to find Iâd received this as free gift, I really didnât think they actually give away items for free but I was wrong!Iâve waited a few weeks to give an honest review of this item, so that I could use it lots of times first.At first I thought âI already have a blender and a ninja auto iQ, what use is this for meâ.However after a few attempts at different recipes, Iâm genuinely impressed with this machine. The power is incredible and only takes seconds to blend most stuff. Really handy to grab a handful for starting off Bolognese recipes, etcItâs not a heavy machine and the suckers underneath keep it well in place, even at top speed. So far itâs stayed out on the worktop as itâs been used a lot, I normally put stuff away in the cupboard and forget about it soon after purchase.Think Iâll be getting rid of the Auto iQ now, as Iâll get more use out of the blenderTo make washing up easier, I just put a squirt of washing up liquid and warm water in the jug and pulse for a few seconds then rinse. Quicker than scrubbing in the sink, but maybe Iâm just lazy!

Took me a while to get used to the settings and not over process when on the chopping mode.The machine is very loud but it has a strong motor on it, a very robust build and best kept out on the worktop I would suggest.Cleaning the small jugs and blender blade is easy, the bigger jug is a bit more tricky with the stacked blades looking to buy a small brush to help with cleaning.I have enjoyed getting used to the blender and im sure there will be much more I can do with it.Would highly recommend this Ninja blender love what it can do.A few more receipes would have been useful too.
This thing is AWESOME! It cuts everything up like a beast. I make smoothies and some veggies are frozen and some I dethaw before I blend so a mix of frozen and soft all in the blender and due to this fact I blend it twice. First I throw my spices in, frozen veggies/fruits then dethawed veggies and it just figures it out and blends then stops, blends then stops, blends and stops :D because it feels the frozen stuff on the bottom so it stops for a second or two so the frozen stuff falls back down in the blender then repeats. Love it. But I noticed my spinach wasn't being cut up as much as I like so now I blend it 2 times and perfect. It is extremely easy to clean just spray it down. I am absolutely in love with it and I am not wasting a lot of my time like I did with the old blender. I can make 2.5 days of smoothies in 15 minutes ... 4 of those minutes is blending the rest is me getting everything I need out to throw in it. The size is great! With my old blender I had to make 2 blender size of it to get 2.5 days of smoothies now I just throw everything in and get it done in no time. Big difference from 1 hour+ to 15 minutes. Also it does have suction cups on the bottom of the blender so I can literally throw everything in it and walk away to prepare the next step in my routine for the smoothies. With my old blender I would throw a dish towel in front of the blender under the footers to stop it from moving forward which was annoying and just another step. This is just the best blender ever. Love it and would buy again and again so highly recommended. Just keep in mind if you are blending a mix of frozen and fresh/dethawed stuff .. make sure you throw in the frozen stuff first to blend properly or you'll have some frozen berries or whatever left at the top so frozen first and you'll be all good.
