Great use of Amiibo!

Alright, most people get Amiibo because they make for cool figurines. Well, these are some of the best looking yet but they also introduce some nice features in-game.You need to understand that when you play the single player campaign in Splatoon it's only done with 1 gun, the splattershot. Squid girl remixes the single-player campaign so that you can go through it with a charger (sniper rifle). If you complete all the challenges you unlock a school girl/boy outfit. The squid allows you to do single player as a Kraken and has timed or limited ink challenges and will unlock a power suit. The Squid boy has you go through the single-player campaign with a roller and will unlock a samurai warrior outfit.Good stuff.

Roller and Charger learner pack.

It's nice that Nintendo has re-released more of this pack, as it's the only way to get the Squid Amiibo in the US besides importing as far as I know. It's really well done and the paint job, especially the ink inside the tanks is well done. Just make sure that the fit of the Squid Girl's hair in the middle is flush. I saw a few units where it was crooked or off.While it's annoying that this is basically Nintendo limiting the "learning" course for rollers and chargers behind plastic toys, it is fun and adds enough for it to be worth it. While you CAN learn in game, most likely you're being destroyed without learning much if your starting now. Plus the items you can earn (mini-games and gear) make it worth it in my opinion.

Splat-Tastic Deal!

I was searching for splatoon 2 amiibos and they are very hard to find. most local stores don't carry either the original or 2 or have an idea when they will stock them so I searched online and found the original 3 pack for splatoon on CLEARANCE for like 10 dollars or $10.99. that is a 30 dollar pack even now if in stock places and is heavily sought after. with shipping I spent 15 or $16.99 and didnt have to leave the house to order or recieve it. shipping was great and it came a day early. all they are good for in splat 2 is armor but 2 of the 3 sets are very cool. I would have spent 30 because I had no amiibo for splat 2 and searched since it came out, glad I searched online and struck gold. thanks target online!
