The amiibo looks so good! The loftwing is especially pleasing to look at. Although I don't use Amiibo for their functions often I do think the perk this one provides in Skyward Sword to be rather handy if you're in a very secluded part of the map without any Loftwing statues. Overall 10/10.

Obviously, the number 1 appeal is the collectability. It looks fantastic, the detail is spectacular. Most collectors won't even take it out of the package. But for those that actually want to put it to use, it has very little. In SS, it's a quick teleport back to Skyloft, and in BotW, it offers nothing more than basic supplies.

I originally bought a few amiibos for the in-game content. But I found myself addicted to them also as ornaments! I wanted to buy this one (Zelda & Loftwing) when I bought the new Skyward Sword remake for the Switch, but it had sold out everywhere, even before the game came out! It has been worth the wait! The only problem I have is, using them in-game, means I have to take them out of the packing, and I worry about keeping them nice!
Very nice Amiibo, looks great as a figurine in its own right. No apparent paint issues and the sculpt is one of the best I've seen, so I'd say it justifies the increased price. Just hope there's a rerun as I'm sure there are plenty of mean-spirited opportunists re-selling them online at ridiculous prices.
The Zelda & Loftwing Amiibo is another beautiful addition to the Zelda Amiibo series. The Loftwing's sculpted feathers in particular give this Amiibo a kind of texture that's missing from its peers, and its vibrant colours + friendly pose really captures the bright cartoony atmosphere of Skyward Sword.It's a good thing that this Amiibo is pretty to look at, because as an avid collector, I refuse to remove the Amiibo from its packaging, so I won't get to enjoy its other uses, i.e. as an in-game teleportation feature! Alas!
The figure is incredibly well made and looks great. It’s quite expensive (back in the day Amiibos were £10) but being able to pop to the sky and back in LoZ:SS was why I bought it. A bit naughty of Nintendo hiding this feature behind a pay wall but hey, I bought it so their cunning plan paid off.
This amiibo has amazing and beautiful details. Its perfect for fan collectors. 100/10. Totally worth it.
