Super Mario World is without a doubt one of the best video games of all time! Super Nintendo has dished out some of the most iconic game titles and this is no exception. The game still is so fun after all these years, and still looks good in the graphics department a fine example of what 16-bit graphics were capable of along with the Donkey Kong Country Series! Bottom line If you have a snes or Snes Emulator Console BUY IT! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! 10/10

This is one of the most fun out of the line of Mario games. This is all prior to the 3D graphics and all that stuff that makes games complexed with camera angle difficulties and stuff like that. This game only really uses 3 buttons, the A, B, and Y buttons. It's simple for the most part, but there are many areas that are a bit challenging. It's simple and fun, the way many games should be a fail to perform towards. The only game that can beat this in classic Mario would probably be Super Mario Bros 3 on the NES or on the SNES with the Super Mario All Stars pack. With 96 different exits throughout the game, can you beat them all, save Yoshi's friends, crush Bowser, and save Princess Peach?

It has been re-released three times, first as part of a combo with Super Mario All-Stars on the SNES in 1994. Secondly, it was released on the Game Boy Advance with modified gameplay, as the second part of the Super Mario Advance series. The third re-release was for the Wii's Virtual Console in North America in 2007 there were few changes from the original SNES version.

What a powerful game to introduce the world to the Super Nintendo! Super Mario World features a world map that is an upgraded version of the one introduced in Super Mario Bros. 3. There are a ton of hidden levels and short cuts hidden around the world, and multiple ways to beat many of the stages. A completion percentage tells you how much of the game you have cleared for each save file. Mario can still fly and shoot fireballs, but now he also gets an assortment of colored dinosaurs called Yoshis to ride around on.

After a hard days work
6 February 2024

After a hard days work when I need to unwind, I can relax and forget about my trouble and also remember my child. I also share the game with my 12 year son who is amazed on how far gaming has come. I thank you guys for allowing me to relive my child hood in a small way and share my gaming experience with my son. Plus how can you not like Mario Bros lol thanks again..!

Family Flashbacks and building memories

Item was exactly as described and shipping was insanely quick.I can’t thank y’all enough for this service. I was able to play SNES with my mother once again since the mid 90s. My own daughter even had the opportunity to play along with us. The amount of nostalgia and happy memories that came back seeing her full of joy and happiness. I’ll never forget this moment and look forward to playing this game with her for years to come alongside with my daughter.

So many memories!
9 October 2024

I was 13 when this game came out. I spent hours playing it trying to master every level and find every hidden detail. Imagine my joy when I found the Star Road. The level, character and music design are masterpieces. This game was a bedrock in my youth. I still have the console and this game. It’s a lot of fun seeing my kids enjoying it as much as I did.

Super Mario World: Return to Dinosaur Land

This game was fun and worked from the instant I plugged it into my SNES. It is more an homage to the original than a full blown hack, and it is very short lived because there are significantly fewer levels than the original. However, there are some fun new level designs and concepts that were not present in the original, and if it weren't for that, then it would have been unlikely that I bought this game. The difficulty is inviting to casual / semi skilled players of the original Super Mario World, but does feature some very tricky puzzles and precisely timed jumps later in the game that costed me several lives... Controls are of the same quality as the original, and graphics too. Haven't had many issues of the game crashing, possibly just due to the ages old console I am still using :) 4/5 stars I think would be fair. It is a fun little throwback for a few nights worth, but wish that it were longer and more immersive in depth.

Wonderful game, had to fix some solder

The Pinnacle of super Nintendo nostalgia, and for good reason, super Mario world is a staple for ever SNES collection. It's perfect gameplay, bouncy music and iconic graphics name it a perfect addition to every collection.DKOldies has proven with my first order that they are competent and care about customer service. And I know that if I mentioned this next part they would have helped me with it as well. It didn't take long into playing this cart than I found that it was not holding its save. Now, I'm familiar with replacing SNES batteries, and so i opened it up to see what the problem is, and found that one of the battery connections was not soldered properly. A quick fix for someone like me who has a soldering station set up, but this issue is why my review is ... MoreThe Pinnacle of super Nintendo nostalgia, and for good reason, super Mario world is a staple for ever SNES collection.
