This was a good buy. I got to choose my own game which i chose Mario Odyssey. The set up was a little tedious as i had to call Nintendo coz i had an old email on file that wasnt working. After the set up everything was good.

Wow… I don’t consider myself much of a gamer, I played the last of us, uncharted and a few others, and I grew up only playing Nintendo games and other games at my friends houses and holyyyyy wowwww… I got odyssey and I have never played a game for so long at a time… it’s like a good book you can’t put down. I’m addicted. I’m a a grown human, and i can’t stop playing. And the console is honestly incredible…

This is awesome! Love that it comes with two red Joy-Cons (it’s my kid’s favorite color, so major bonus points here). I also love that it comes with a game code for one of three game downloads. If you love Mario Kart, it’s there, but if you’re more of a Super Mario 64 type person, Odyssey is there (that’s what I chose). Or maybe you like the scroll-across style games. Then you’ve got Super Mario Bros U. Really nice to be able to choose from a small list. The package comes with everything you need to get started on your Nintendo Switch adventure. Happy Mar10 day!
I bought this the morning it went for sale in March. I used to have an Animal Crossing console that had spring noisy Joy-Cons, but so far this "Choose your bundle" console has been flawless. I dressed it up with the black Zelda casing on amazon. Looks good with the Skyward Sword Joy-Con as well. It wakes up my TV and I don't beleive the Animal Crossing edition console did that (2 years ago).
Its crazy that a person told me they would stop doing console and game bundles for the switch . Then i waited months then this pops out and saves me from buying a whole $60 game .
I’ve been thinking about buying a Switch for a while, and this bundle made the decision easier. When you factor in the included $40-$60 game, even used Switches aren’t much cheaper. I was wondering if I would regret not going with the OLED, but so far that’s not the case. The screen is bright and vibrant, and works great in handheld. I will say that the stand seems somewhat precarious, but I don’t plan on using it often. I also like the color of the Joy-cons more than those of the standard switch. It’s slightly more muted than my picture would indicate, but pleasant to look at. Overall, happy with my purchase.
