A Handy Handheld

The Nintendo Switch Lite was ideal for me personally as someone who already owns several Playstation consoles and just needs a handheld for on the go. I have family and friends who have the base Switch model and all really loved it so I decided to dive in myself. I mostly use my Switch Lite as a gaming setup for when Im traveling. Its likely that you will want to upgrade the storage with a micro sd card which you can buy in various storage sizes on Amazon or other similar sites. Anyway, I highly recommend this model, for adults and children alike, although adults prepare to need to stretch those fingers and thumbs every now and then because trust me when I say this console is small and your hands will get tired without grips.

Overall, the nintendo switch lite is an alright console but i'd say just save a little bit of money and buy an xbox series x, ps5 or the original nintendo switch.

I wasn't sure I'd like it because it couldn't connect to the TV, but then I realized it's too much trouble to deal with all those extra accessories. A Switch Lite is a ripoff, knockoff version of a Switch, weirdly made by Nintendo. As a long time Nintendo fan, this broke my heart. Worse than the Wii U. It was at least built sturdy. If you like to actually game, this will break on you quick. If you are casual, this will break on you in two years if you are lucky. Total ripoff and scam if you are trying to budget game. I'll say it again, you will SAVE money buy buying a regular Switch and you will appreciate the better options. It's only marginally more expensive for me to buy a new Switch Lite than it would be for me to get it fixed, due to Nintendo's criminal way of fixing things. Realistically, I know it would cost me $180 to fix what I know is wrong. That doesn't include the double shipping costs because of their policy, and doesn't include the one month waiting time, again, per Nintendo's awful program. Also, I mentioned earlier, you can't comfortably hold the thing without buying a grip. You can't do next gen anything. Some things are literally insultingly engineered. Without a separate component, you can't charge and have a flipping controller plugged in at the same time. In conclusion, because these liars on here must be some shills. If you want a Switch, save up, get the OLED, or whatever is best. Still, your joycons will crap out way too fast, but fixing that will be way cheaper and easier. They are plug and play. Look at the assembly. Know for a fact, those joysticks have mad drift, another thing, and will just stop working eventually. Sooner rather than later. It's just disgusting and Nintendo knew all along. I'll leave their underpowered, trash system alone. Leave that to the experts. But even the Wii U didn't become non functional due to normal use. The Switch Lite absolutely will. I promise.

Because this the only system I’ve ever had I didn’t really see a huge difference in screen quality between the others. I will say the joycon button get discolored quickly no matter how clean and moisturizer free you keep your hands. After about a week of using I eventually but some button covers so I wouldn’t make it worse.
