Fine But Glitchy

I still enjoy the game so for that I will give it three stars, but I’m really struggling to give it that. I haven’t even gotten halfway through the second location and I’ve had major glitches. One in which I complete the entire level and then have to restart due to either not being brought back after completing the mission. This has happened at least twice so far, amongst other issues in which I complete the things required, but the button doesn’t appear to let me investigate what I need to have the ghost appear and so forth. Just beware. It’s extremely aggravating and unfortunate.

Fun for the whole family!

Fun for the whole family! Love that they brought it out on the Switch. Looks modern, plays well, and has a neat storyline. We like some things about this one more than ‘Luigi’s Mansion 3’, but we like some things better about that one too. Would recommend!

It deserves 0 stars for eliminating 2 player mode

Literally on the line with nintendo now seeing how I can return this aboslutely GARBAGE waste of a game, since Target won't return open video games. NINTENDO!!! WHy on EARTH would you remove the 2 player ability!? My husband and I were SOOOo excited to play this game together..... only to find out you CAN't!? Not to mention the game play itself is just.... boring and tedious. Biggest disappointment ever. Absolute garbage. 0/10 cannot recommend.

This game is a blast. I have been playing this game for over a month now and there is so much to do. The ghost are hilarious and look fantastic in 3d. If you are a fan of Mario and Luigi games, Luigi's Mansion is an absolute must. Happy hauntings!

I remember getting Luigi’s Mansion on the Nintendo GameCube way back & I was initially unimpressed then I was hooked & cos completed it & I got Luigi’s Mansion 3 for the Nintendo Switch that I have yet to play & strangely Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD comes out before I do finally play #3 !The game arrived quite early in its day of release from Very with an unadvertised so completely unexpected Official Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD sticker sheet! So I started to play right away & right away I was gripped & I was as for the rest of the day until I had to put it down & I didn’t & couldn’t pick it up after that for a while but I’ve resumed play & it’s a thoroughly enjoyable game so far & I can only see it getting better, my only gripe with the game is the constant contact from Prof ... MoreI remember getting Luigi’s Mansion on the Nintendo GameCube way back & I was initially unimpressed then I was hooked & cos completed it & I got Luigi’s Mansion 3 for the Nintendo Switch that I have yet to play & strangely Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD comes out before I do finally play #3 !The game arrived quite early in its day of release from Very with an unadvertised so completely unexpected Official Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD sticker sheet! Packed with charm and adventure

Really fun game for fans of the series. The new HD graphics look great but, they look great for a switch game. don’t expect a Pixar movie. As with most Nintendo titles, it’s kid friends, and the ghosts and ghouls are as silly and lighthearted as ever.it’s a delightful game from a solid franchise, but, as the number suggests, 2 is less than 3. So if you’ve played LM3, don’t expect anything new here.

Unfortunately, a pacifier game
29 June 2024

I ran to walmart on the 27th to grab this because my kid and i LOVED LM3. Ya, nothing like it. not multiplayer. graphics felt bagkward. i honestly feel like this is the game to pacify you until they come out with a new switch you have to buy to play the new games and where LM4 will be. You are going through E. Gads home basically, and it's just not what I thought it would be. You dont have Gooigi. Big hope disappointment.

Where’s the preorder bonus???
19 May 2024

This is the best of the 3 Luigi Mansion games. It introduces polter-pup (Luigi’s ghost pet dog) and has multiple haunted locations! I’ve played this multiple times through on the Nintendo 3DS console. I just wish this game came with the preorder bonuses that are available in Europe only right now. They have access to a Luigi bobble head, a diorama of Luigi with his poltergust (proton pack-like vac) and a greenie ghost, as well as a polterpup keychain! Also the original version of this game has Amiibo compatibility which would be nice if they kept because you could use amiibo like toad to get a golden bone that calls polter-pup when Luigi runs out of life to revive your character - (it acts as an extra life)!

a decent licensed Nintendo game
19 July 2024

It’s a decent remaster. Despite that I hate getting E. Gadd’s stupid calls every 5 MINUTES!! It’s almost worse than Navi.Anyway I do not think this game is even close to the polish of Luigi’s Mansion 3. The level design is kind of odd and confusing at times so you might have to look up a guide, especially for collecting the gems, but for completing a level as well because sometimes it is just NOT CLEAR what it wants you to do. Sometimes the answer rests in a location you’ve combed through already in a previous level. My boyfriend seemed to like it a lot but he’s just a big Luigi fan so he’ll enjoy it nonetheless..tl;drpros:- luigi !- king boo is cute- decent port of a DS gamecons:- no gooigi :(- confusing level design- collecting things / exploring ... MoreIt’s a decent remaster. This is a 60 dollar game and I know it’s the second game in the series, but I don’t want this game to deter you from playing the third one.
