I'm a little late to the party buying a Switch in 2022. But I knew I'd need the Pro Controller as the Joy Cons are just too small for my hands. The controller is perfect, well designed, sturdy, comes with a rumble feature, mostly comfortable to use (I say mostly because frankly the DualSense on PS5 can't be beat in terms of comfort), super long battery life (about 40 hours on a single charge...this is where PlayStation can learn something) and makes certain games, such as Mario Kart 8, easier to play due to having more control. Other than not having a 3.5mm Headphone jack for some reason...it's a fantastic controller and a must have for any Nintendo Switch user.

Ok so for people who are looking for the real official pro controller, this is the one! this is not a cheap knockoff. its made by Nintendo! so i love this thing! the rumble is amazing, its design is awesome, and its nice and comfy to use! so when i first got it I wouldn't say it drifted but the joysticks were in the wrong order, so my avatar was walking on his one but not from drift, BUT easy fix! all i did was calibrate control sticks and now it is perfect! no drift, no bad stuff! its brand new and worth the 60 dollars! BUY IT NOW!

I purchased a used Pro Nintendo switch controller. It works like brand new. I noticed the cosmetics and handle were a little worn (as if its been dropped) other than that. The controller is fully functional. Awesome product at an awesome price. Would buy from them again if needing a controller in the future.

This is one of my favorite controllers of ALL time. I have been playing my Switch for what seems like days and I barely ever have to charge this thing. It connects very easily once juiced up. I am absolutely buying more of these for party games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate so all my friends can come over and we battle it out using these amazing controllers. Thank you, seller, you've brought a ton of joy into my life, ALSO thank you Nintendo for creating such a beautiful controller.
Hands down the best controller for the Nintendo Switch. If you're planning on getting a controller and wondering what benefits the official controller has over something like a third-party PowerA controller, it's this: The build quality is superior, longer battery life, better feeling buttons, sticks, and triggers. If you plan on using your Switch in docked mode for any prolonged period of time, it is absolutely worth the investment to get this instead of a cheaper third-party controller.
I don't care for the price. However, it is damn near necessary to properly enjoy any of the non 'party' titles on the Switch. The design is both aesthetically pleasing and structurally sound. After several hours playing BoTW, my hands were not sweaty or too cramped. I believe there are a few reviews that advise that they are for "normal" sized hands. If you're tall or large, you may find that you have a find or two wrapping around or hanging off - but overall, it's not too awkward. The buttons provide good tactile response and the analog and D-Pad are decently positioned for ease of use. I with that there was a bit more resistance in the analog stick.

I've tested it for an entire day with Smash Ultimate (Fighting game) and Paladins (First Person Shooter game), and I can say that I didn't feel any difference gameplay-wise in comparison to my other official controller. Every button felt responsive and aiming with the analog sticks felt natural. I sometimes forget I'm using a different controller. Also I play Paladins with motion controls, so I can easily say that the motion controls are intact, identical and perfect as ever. The buttons and analog sticks feel like new and don't click like a bootleg controller would. It's all pretty identical to a new one here, but here are a few minor issues I've noticed: #1 The L button is easier to press with little pressure. Like it's very sensitive. It still works as a normal controller, but you have to be more careful to not press it by accident. Thankfully, I haven't gotten problems with it in-game. #2 The vibration is a bit silenced. Almost feels like the HD rumble is not there. It still vibrates, but not as hard or immersive as the original. I still prefer this than the annoying vibration of the bootleg one. #3 This one might sound a bit picky, but pressing down on the dpad feels a tiny bit more harder to press/requires a bit more pressure to press than the original one. Other than that, it still works fine and not annoying either. Just noticeable. I still recommend it for the price. New Official Pro Controllers are very expensive nowadays and finding this one for $20-$30 dollars cheaper is a very satisfying purchase. Would buy another one if available.
I've always had a problem with the regular joy cons for the Switch. Either they break easily or the joystick was always shifting to the left. Imagine playing a platformer and your character all of a sudden jumping off a cliff. Very annoying! This controller is a solution to that problem. Not only is it much sturdier than the joy cons, it fits so comfortably in hands that you can play for hours. No shifting to the left and no jumping off of cliffs! The only problem that I have with it is that its not really feasible to play on the go, so it pretty much can only be used on the dock. Its still useful, but be prepared to play with joy cons on the go. Overall I think its worth it to have a sturdier controller for at home use. Definitely worth the purchase.
Lots of times when you pay more for a brand name item the extra money just gets you the name, not a better product but not in this case. The actual Nintendo Switch Pro controller's quality is very apparent when you use it. I bought a generic off brand a few weeks before and was not happy with the feel and function, so I bought this one. This is easily a five-star product both in quality and feel.
If you can afford this pro controller, it is totally worth it. It has great look, a great feel in hand, and makes extended gaming sessions a breeze. I have three of these now for my four person family and will be buying 1 more soon. You can use this controller on the go as well, if you'd prefer to leave the joycons as eye candy. Other cheaper wireless controllers are out there and they are good. But those more often than not don't have the 'HD vibration' function, the gyroscopic control(the motion control) , or NFC capability which gives you the ability to utilize your amiibo through the pro controller. The former 2 are required for some in game functionality. That's what makes the pro controller a complete package. They are beginning to pop up a bit cheaper than ...
