As a female who only washes my hair once a week it’s hard for me to say as of now if this is making significant changes to my hair. So I will say I do not know how I ended up trying the kit for thinning hair because I do have extra thick hair but I did go ahead and try out the kit so here are my thoughts on the leave in treatment. I believe this did give some volume to my hair which would be great for thinning hair. However I felt like it left my hair very brittle and it was very drying to my hair. It created tangles where there was not any. I ended up using part of my normal after shower products to make it through just to help it feel not so damaged. I also let my hair air dry afterwards as well. I will not be using this again on my hair. I have loved this product! I must say, I have only used this conditioner along with the whole system (shampoo, conditioner, treatment), but I LOVE it as a system. I really feel like the scalp and hair treatment is really the secret sauce of the system. I enjoyed the fresh, menthol minty smell and refreshing cooling feeling on my scalp! I did notice some scalp redness after using the treatment, but it sounds like that can be normal as it increases blood flow to the scalp. I did notice some hair regrowth, especially around my hairline! Please note that I did color my hair, which is why it is lighter in the after. But overall, I am very happy with this product! I continue this all over my head. Comb-part-spray. I massage this product into my head and then style as usual. Ever since having kids (7 years ago) my hair has gone from crazy thick to thinning. It’s depressing and scary. I’ve collagen and biotin but I didn’t notice much of a difference. After using Nioxin for this short amount of time, I’m already seeing baby hairs!!! I’m hoping it’s new growth and not breakage. It looks like new to me. I wish this campaign was longer so I could have more time to know for sure. I’m happy with the results. I did notice a difference within 2 months of not this hair treatment my hair felt less healthy. When I got out of the shower there was more hair around the drain my brush was full of hair again and just looked awful. With all the money I spend on having my hair cut and colored, or buying products that promise voluminous hair with one use. I wasn't going to have any hair left. I started using the thinning hair line treatments immediately. I only use this product 3 or 4 times a week now its mostly for maintenance. The Nioxin hair line really works!! You just have to use the products consistently and stick with them. I wish I would have found this sooner.

I have never heard of this brand and was a little worried about using it. I was alittle confused because on the post card that came in the voxbox says it’s for thick hair. But on the bottles it says light thinning. Also when I used it I didn’t like how it made my hair feel while and after use. I’m not sure how to even describe it. But it gave my hair like synthetic feel to it. My husband made a joke saying it smelled like toothpaste lol. My hair is thick and curly and I didn’t feel like this brand suited my hair texture. I definitely will not be buying this. But this is my opinion. What doesn’t work for me may work for others. It’s definitely a big no for me.

I received this Nioxin Kit in my VoxBox and although I feel like I didn't get to use it long enough before reviewing, I am still impressed with the results. When it comes to the Scalp and Hair Treatment spray specifically, I'm not sure that it added to the effectiveness of the system. The shampoo and conditioner work wonderfully and give immediate results. I have used it both with and without the treatment spray and all I noticed from the added step was a crunchiness to the area of hair where it was applied. That could be my fault for applying too much at once though. It's possible that it needs to be used for a longer period of time before giving any noticable results. Overall this system is great and I would use it in the future for hair thinning/loss.
