The lens I received made a scraping noise when the focus ring was turned. This is unacceptable, especially for a cinema lens. I returned it. The replacement lens I received makes the same noise. I own 25mm and 40mm Nisi Athenas which are silent and smooth.Either there was a bad batch of 85mm lenses along with poor quality control, or this lens is very poorly designed and constructed and unlike the other Athena Primes.

Great budget lens, currently using with the DJI lidar/focus pro system. Unsure if this is chromatic aberration - subject outlines with pink color were noticeable when filming low-light with blue (240) 300w key.

Amazing lens for the value. Paired it with a C70 and the DJI Lidar system. Love the colors and sharpness of this lens. I was hesitant at first, since the brand is new to the market- but I'm considering another focal length soon.

I got this NiSi lens with a few others to have in my kit for commercial and branded content work. The image is super clean and neutral which gives a lot of flexibility in the type of work I can do with it - whether corporate or something more artistic. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a versatile lens!
These lenses are phenomenal for the cost. If you've worked with a variety of the more budget-friendly cine lenses, you'll tell the difference as soon as you hold this lens, but then you'll be blown away as soon as you see it through the monitor. I've been putting my gfx100ii with one of these lenses in the hands of my filmmaker friends and asking for first impressions and watching their response echo my own says it all.

But I would still choose a Vista over these. In the world of low end cinema glass they do punch above their price tag. I’d place them in the highest level of the low level glass. If you are looking for a great start-your-career set these could be it. But if you are looking for career long lenses keep saving and buy higher end.
This lens is cinematic and sharp. I love it. The best budget lens by far. I done shoot short film and music videos for quite a while. And over the years I experienced many lens. The image quality from this lens is amazing. I shout in the red Komodo and the drop in filter turns your red camera into the perfect compact cinematic solution. I recommend this lens
Received the lens quicker than expected. This lens comes in sturdy bag. Tested few shots which produced beautiful sharper footage.
