The NiSi 62mm Nano IR Neutral Density Filter ND1000 is specially designed for landscape photographers. This filter is made from high-quality optical glass with nano coating to prevent losing any single bit of detail. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and the 3.0 density provides a 10 stop reduction in light from entering the lens. Attaching a neutral density (ND) filter to your lens uniformly reduces the amount of light entering the lens. The ND filter is helpful when the contrast between the highlights and shadows is too great to get a quality exposure. The ND Filter also can enable greater motion blurring and image detail by allowing a large aperture and/or a slow shutter speed to be used. A variant on the ND filter is the graduated ND, in which there is a gradient that affects the reduction of light in a graduated, neutral level from 100% to 0% across the length of the filter. The Graduated ND is recommended for shooting landscapes and seascapes because you can reduce the brightness of the sky (for better contrast) but still maintain an affecting exposure of the land or water. By using a neutral density filter the camera is vulnerable to infrared light which will cast the unwanted red color to the photos when shooting at a small aperture. The added the infrared protection coating layer to this filter which helps to eliminate the infrared light through the lens to bring back the natural colour.

The best filter i've used to date. It's small, fits on the lens without having a whole system making it lighter, and easy to work with allowing for great motion blur in photos.

I purchased this filter to help produce slow shutter speeds for water fall photography. The NiSi reviews I have read show their filters to be upper tier. This filter seems to be neutral with no color cast. I am very happy with this product.

Awesome ghostly pictures of the ocean. This effect can only be achieved directly from the camera with long exposures. NiSi also has a free APP called NiSi Filters that helps you chose the correct shutter speed. This takes some of the mystery out of using it.

For a circular ND these are excellent... I bought a new used 4 and 6 stop and after seeing the results, had to get a 10 stop Ill most likely get a 15 stop as well.... excellent optics and excellent construction These NiSi filters all around are exceptionally made... Nice One!
Ordered on Sat and it arrived in good time ! Well packed and no damage ! Filter itself has a low profile screw in body with an 82mm thread ! Very pleased with the colour renditon of this filter ! Almost perfectly neutral and sharp corner to corner ! Would Buy Again !
Used it today to photograph running stream and bridge. 2.5 minute exposure left water silky and smooth. I doubt Iβll shoot any moving water without this filter.
Really happy with filter, it makes midday photography easier. Also brilliant for long exposures. The process of ordering was very easy and it arrived 2 days after ordering.
Purchased the NISI ND 10 stop as an upgrade from my Hoya ND 10 stop and it has outperformed the Hoya in every aspect. The performance throughout different lighting is impressive with a perfect balance of highlights and shadows. The lens also has a higher tolerance to dirt, marks or drops of water on the lens whilst shooting. My kit will soon be filled with nothing but NISI filters!
NiSi filters are unparalleled. If you need the best, simply get this.
I took my Nisi 10-stop filter out at 3p.m., an unheard of time for shooting landscapes. Just as Nisi claims there was no color tint to my image. I was delighted to not have to correct the WB that I set in my camera. I'm sold on this wonderful 10-stop ND filter. I would definitely recommend this to anyone show photographs landscapes.
