These flashlights are wonderful and now I'm never without them. They are tiny and rechargeable so they're always ready to go. It can burn for 45 hours on 1 lumen which is enough to walk by if your eyes have gotten used to the dark. That low-level is also good for reading in bed etc. Conversely you can operate it for 1 hour at 45 lumens. That's very bright although it's life is shorter. These are very slim and so I wear one on a chain around my neck. If I get out of bed in the middle of the night I'm never left in the dark. It's so slim that I don't even feel it. I have purchased numerous Tube lights for mainly younger ladies with no flashlight experience suddenly finding a need. Simple to use, easily recharged, they now find them indispensable. A possible addition would be a dual light output of white and red for night work by nurses uing low light conditions. I have purchaed more than two dozen of these and never have been disappointed.

Travel full time. Always have it with me. Takes up very little room in my pocket. Charges off My Royal Enfield motorcycle. Hangs off the loop at the top of my tent for easy access. Love it!
I keep this thing attached to the zipper pull on my flight suit and use it as a task light when I'm flying. I love that it only lights to 1 lumen when I turn it on; it's just right for reading a checklist without flooding the whole cockpit with light. Nite croe TUBE flashlights have always been my favorite keychain light and are always a big hit as a gifts. The new TUBE flashlights are a lot brighter than their predecessors even though the reported increase in lumens is from 45 to 55. This is a big improvement in performance for my uses. The TUBE does charge quicker and lasts longer, most noticeable at the highest setting. A definite buy.
