Having two Nitecore flashlights already, I probably didn't need this flashlight. But, as we frequently say in amateur radio, want will always trump need. I have been showing it off to anyone who will listen. It is not much larger than my MH12SE or MT21C but it outshines (pun intended) them both handily. It has several new features, my favorite being the proximity detector which will cut back the power, thus heat, if in close proximity to anything. Those who have ever had an LED light on in their pocket, knows well the heat they can produce. With its other nice touches and upgrades, it's certainly worth considering.

I have been showing it off to anyone who will listen. It is not much larger than my MH12SE or MT21C but it outshines (pun intended) them both handily. It has several new features, my favorite being the proximity detector which will cut back the power, thus heat, if in close proximity to anything.
