Gives an IPX5 rating, all ports stopped working in humid weather in Vancouver island. Didn't even directly get wet. Became totally useless within 2 uses. Also, it's just weird that it has a 30Win/45Wout port and then an 18W in. That makes no sense. Have 2 usb c ports one that does 45W in and out and another 45w out, that will both do 18W out of used simultaneously or something. Why would you have pass through 18W in charging and 45W out? This would drain the battery faster than it charges. Basically a useless port as it has no out function and you can charge faster with the other port.

I use this battery to charge my devices while on location in remote areas, and I keep the Power Bank itself charged via a solar panel at the same time (during the day, via the USB C input only port), which is is well matched with one of my panels outputs.I can simultaneously power / charge my MacBook Pro 13 via the USB C in/out port, 2 Canon LP-EN6 batteries (with Nitecore UCN2 Pro QC), my phone or a Gopro 10, though that would pretty much drain all its juice if the toys were flat to start with, so, for multi day missions, you may want more than one, or make sure you can keep up with the Solar charging... The two USB-C Ports are not the same, if you have ~40W or more of solar power, make sure to use the in/out port, else you will lose half of your available solar ... MoreI use this battery to charge my devices while on location in remote areas, and I keep the Power Bank itself charged via a solar panel at the same time (during the day, via the USB C input only port), which is is well matched with one of my panels outputs.I can simultaneously power / charge my MacBook Pro 13 via the USB C in/out port, 2 Canon LP-EN6 batteries (with Nitecore UCN2 Pro QC), my phone or a Gopro 10, though that would pretty much drain all its juice if the toys were flat to start with, so, for multi day missions, you may want more than one, or make sure you can keep up with the Solar charging... This is far lighter and more affordable per Ah than many other options, and I have had no issues, including use from rainforests with 100% humidity to below freezing conditions. Buying more before my next expedition...

If you do a new and improved nb20000 like the nb10000, can you make all the markings “in” and “out” lettering in contrasting color, maybe in neon white or neon yellow so that it’s easier to see without my having to use a flashlight to see the wording. Absolutely great product support, with questions immediately answered. Also, can I get a free swap if a new nb20000 does come out?

Works great and absolutely love it. Like the multiple ports and the extremely light and strong build. I use it to power an MMDVM and a Netgear Nighthawk M6 and I have them all mounted in a Pelican hard case for portable digital comms systems. It works great and powers everything all day with no problem. I am going to buy another one and recommend everyone to get one.
Picked up the Nitecore NB20000 as an upgrade for my wife's backpacking trip on the West Coast Trail in BC. We normally use a 10000 mAh bank by another vendor for three- and four-day outings, which did fine. The NB20000 is for longer duration trips. During a multiday test outing in the damp Pacific Northwest we recharged two iPhones, a Garmin inReach, a headlamp and a couple of Garmin watches with the recharge capacity dropping to 75%. We appreciate the multiple ports and ease of use. Looking forward to more trips with confidence.
I purchased the NB20000 to take on a long distance hike. Fast charging of the power bank is more important than anything as every 4-5 days I will stop in a trail town, buy food, hopefully find a place to charge and move on. With a slower charge, I'd have to spend the night in a hotel at extra $$$. The NB20000 seems to fit this model perfectly. My unit however arrived defective with one carbon fiber panel falling off (definitely not waterproof!). It's taken many emails with the Chinese HQ that went nowhere but finally reaching out to the US based NiteCore store, they were responsive and my unit is on it's way back for a swap for a hopefully higher quality unit. We shall see...
I like quality products. This is a quality product. Unless you’re specifically doing weight sensitive adventuring the weight is probably not as impactful as the reduced size compared to your average powerbank of the same capacity. The product is nice to touch and use, the 20k capacity is really useful - not recharging after every use, recharging speeds are really good. It’s a no brainer IMO.
I have the smaller, 10k version of this and really like it. But I needed more power so I purchased the 20k and it's been great. It feels a little nicer than the 10k because the button press is nicer and the power readout is more clear with a few distinct LEDs that are separated from the button (on the 10k they are integrated). The device is predictably larger and heavy, but that's where battery technology is nowadays. I would definitely buy one again.
