My mh-40 flashlight still does not work with new batteries. I have tried to talk to someone about my problem. With no results. Flashlight will not charge. After overnight charge flashlight will only have small light on. What is wrong. I like flashlight. Let me know what to do. Tks

Got these for a the MT21C flashlight, Dont drop your light from more then a couple feet, it kills the batteries, got 1 dropped my light from maybe 2 feet and dead battery, emailed nite core, got a replacement ( which nite core team awesome for just replacing battery) but the second one, buddy of mine dropped it while working under a car, so it fell maybe a foot or so, and boom dead battery. Wouldnt even bother getting a replacement because they are so fragile. unless you plan to baby it, get the standard 18650 without the integrated charger. they seem to hold up alot better to falls as ive had no problem with them.

My poor hexbright's battery had given up the ghost but since the company that makes them went out of business a few years ago, what's one to do? It seems that 18650 batteries can be slightly different sizes, so there was no guarantee I could find a replacement that would work. I ordered this nitecore battery because it had the same voltage as the original and seemed to be the same size. Lucky me, it fits perfectly. I also feel good about using this battery because its made for high drain flashlights, like the hexbright.

The support persons at Longhorn Tactical answered my concerns and questions about what type of lithium-ion battery would work in my new Nitecore P12 flashlight I purchased from Lumen Tactical. I have an another P12 that is approximately 3 years old and powered by Nuon 18650 battery. The same Nuon battery did not work in my new P12. The support personnel advised me Nuon batteries aren't supported. The support team sent me out two complimentary non-rechargeable to test the new P12. They worked fine so the issue is with Nuon batteries. I asked what model lithium-ion is recommended for the P12. I was directed to the NITECORE NL1835 3500mAh. I works fine in my new P12. You have a great company and support department.
I bought my first set of batteries about 7 years ago, and they lasted until March 2022. I would say I got my money's worth. I don't think that's typical, but it is typical of the quality of Nitecore products that I own. Also the super fast shipment and delivery from the Nitecore Store was an added bonus I didn't expect (but appreciate). I don't want to sound like a commercial, but I can depend on Nitecore.
This is proving to be a good battery for my EC21 flashlight. I bought this from Nitecore because I believe they are honest about the ratings and will have quality batteries. I previously bought a 18650 battery thru Amazon with a crazy rating... it wasn't true. While this is an inexpensive and low power rating, at $10, it is good for my use... an EDC flashlight, my Nitecore EC21, which I love!
The Nitecore is bit larger than other 18650's (read dimensions). A perfect fit in my old I-Taste 134. Now brought back to new life. So that's good. But to large for other older tube mods. Coil resistance should not be less than 1.3 ohms for this battery.
Nightcore batteries when combined with Nightcore smart chargers are consistent with their power output and distribution. Until 6 months ago I never of this brand but I'll be coming back again for more. The chargers are fantastic at monitoring the health and age of the batteries; A feature that until now I had never seen outside of high end camera batteries for DSLR professionals. Sure they are expensive but, I depend on them. I work in road construction for a living and often at nights working on Americas Highways... My life depends on them. I use them between 4 hand held lights and 3 Picatinny rail mounted lights.
I tried other batteries, but none seem to work as well as the Nitecore batteries. Why did I even try those other batteries? The other batteries were NOT cheaper. I learned my lesson. I will be staying with Nitecore Batteries for my flashlights.
so far so good. was not sure if they would just sell me dead batteriesbut so far so good. have not used them all but the ones ive used were just fine.
