It was a great little flashlight for a while, and now it simply won't charge, it shows it charging, then indicates the battery is full. But once you unplug the charger the battery shows empty and the flashlight will not work, and of course you can not replace the battery. It probably had two dozen charge cycles before it died. It's not user error, iv'e got about 20 Nitecore flashlights. Will never get an inbuilt battery version again though

The box I received had obviously been previously opened. I should have, but did not think to take a picture of such. While the light works well and I like it overall, the package I received was incomplete and did not include either the charging cable or the lanyard. After spending $25 on a USB -> USB-C cable, (probably could have found something cheaper, but I needed one anyway) I find that it charges just fine. Point of order, the 87W power adapter for my MacBook Pro does not charge the light, though it works with a Nexus phone. It seems that the light itself cannot negotiate a power mode it likes with this type of supply. An Apple 18W adapter (iPad variant) and cable from Fred Meyer work fine. The light itself works as advertised. I like it very much and intend ... I like it very much and intend to make good use of it.When I contacted Massdrop about the issue, however, I was rather disappointed in the answer. I was offered a $25 credit with their store. While this covered the cost of the cable, it does not make up for the trouble of finding one or that the item itself had been opened and contents removed then sold as new. I understand there are laws against this.I've used Massdrop to purchase other items and have generally been pleased with the result. This, however, ruins trust with an online discount retailer. I've cancelled my newsletter subscription and intend to not use this service again.I have expressed these feelings to Massdrop support directly with no useful offer of remedy other than the $25 credit or returning the item. What amuses me is that I technically can't return it incomplete. I told them I was going to leave this review and will now walk away.

Not impressed with Nitecore quality control here. Buttons and LCD display work and function as expected, however the device will not produce light at any setting. I also have a TM26 that’s never had problems and an EC4 that I had to get replaced by Massdrop because it died after a month of sitting on a shelf. I have reached out to Massdrop support to see about fixing the problem, hoping they’ll replace it with a working unit rather than refunding me.Update: Drop told me to talk to Nitecore about it. Disappointed, in the past they’ve helped me out and went above and beyond - I guess with the rebrand those days are over.

Bought this light to replace one I used daily at work, charged it once and it lasted over one week. Highly recommend this light, the three brightness settings are perfect. I used this light when hunting and the lowest light level was great while getting my supplies out of my bag to setup.
Absolutely the best light you can buy, I've had mine for over 2 years, carried it daily, always ready when I need it. The 10K switch on the back started acting up so I bought a new light, I will keep the old light for when I walk to dog. Although my old light is out of warranty, nobody can give me an estimate for repair, so I will continue to use it as is without the 10K function. I have the old light set up for 3, 100, 300 & 2000 (the 4th setting can be set between 400 to 2000).
Pros:CompactBright.God pattern.Cons:10K lumens only last 7 seconds before heat shuts it downDoesn't have a strobe settingDoesn't have a magnetic base.3 buttons are not intuitive
INTENSELY bright. Extremely well built and solid. Unboxing it was reminiscent of an Apple product- that thing just looks and feels expensive. Almost everything about it is perfect. My only complaint is that the buttons and lockout process aren't intuitive. I'm very pleased with it, nonetheless. From several feet away you can instantly feel the emitted heat on bare skin. The closest comparison in terms of brightness I can think of would probably be a police helicopter's search light. 4.5/5
I have many Nitecore lights, and some (like the NM02) are better overall values. This is the most compact in the lineup. The 7 second limitation on the turbo is annoying, if understandable. But the 2000 lumen high is plenty bright, and if you like to customize your brightness setting, I think this is your only option. Easy to keep in a bag or pocket. And like every other Nitecore light, top notch build.
Well the big factor is the 10,000 lumens (wow!) although it lasts for just 7 seconds at a time and is overheating limited as to how many times in a row you may repeat it.I bought it for that for max power in sweeping campsites at night for wildlife when taking our dogs out. Also like the digital display of remaining time for the power setting in use. And the 2 step power lockout has worked well on my Nitecore TiNi2 key ring light so expect the same on this unit although this is too large and heavy to slip in a front pants pocket with keys etc.The other power settings, 3 to 2000 lumens are available in much smaller and lighter lights so nothing special and the color tint is unpleasant to my taste, a bluish tinted white. But overall it's a useful light and will ... This flashlight is everything I hoped it would be. Truly amazing (just google nitecore TM10K for detailed reviews.) I love the compact size and beam intensity (when I need it.). If the price doesn't deter you I highly recommend this quality instrument.P.S. Excellent Customer Service! I had to deal with a delivery issue and they resolved my problem immediately.
