I know it’s a tester but some companies do release permanent products in ampoules. The reason for my dislike was when you break the glass, the white band around the neck broke off into the product. I don’t want any material going into a product into my face! Also I thought there was far too much product and say if it was in a pump or pipette I would have used less. Also some ampoules poured out easier than others and I did have to tap the broken glass on my hand. I would have also liked them to disclose the percent of Vitamin C which I find crucial in the purchase process. There is also a lot of serum in each ampoule I could cover my face probabaly two times over so I’d prefer if there was a little less in each one as I have to throw away the excess. The serum is really rich and smells citrusy which I love and it absorbs in the skin pretty well. It’s quite thick which I also like as it feels like an extra boost of moisture underneath my face cream. The next morning I wake up with glowy skin without fail so I would definitely recommend for that reason alone. This product has been mixed up, I have been using Q10 energy fresh look eye cream for a few months now and it has been my best eye product. I have also tried the Q10 power, anti-wrinkle+firming eye cream, but that sticks around the eyes and leaves residuals. However, I bought this unique Q10 energy fresh look eye cream recently, only to open it and see that it's the reverse, in the same packaging. I am very disappointed, never expected this from Nivea. Please, if it is a mistake, kindly correct it ASAP as I will be changing products now due to this mix-up. No conflict of interest, thanks

I used this product everyday for a week, applying it in the morning after cleansing. The serum is has the texture of a light oil and is bright orange in colour. It smells wonderful to me but if you are sensitive to smell it might be a bit much. The serum applies easily, spreading well and absorbing quickly into the skin. My skin felt nicely moisturised and supple after the first application and the moisturiser I applied over it sat really nicely and didn't pill up on my skin. My sin was glowy & bright.I did not like the packaging. One ampoule contains one application, you get a good amount in each one. You snap the glass ampoule with a plastic cap, this is kind of of a pain. The end of the ampoule gets stuck in the cap and needs to be poked out each time. The aluminium tubing is excellent as it also helps you to ensure that you are able to squeeze the tube to get out every drop of contents unlike other packaging. It has a thin nozzle attached so that you can use just the right amount needed so none goes to waste. I expected the cream to be thicker than it was. It was however very light to apply. The packaging suggests freshness with oranges pictured & I was very disappointed to discover that there was no fragrance at all. Even a very subtle fragrance would have been nice. Saw some bad reviews so thought I’d put my opinion on. Been using for some months after using the plain Nivea Q10 with no vit C. Very happy with this; only need a small amount. I dab under my eyes rather than rub. If my eyes are tired and looking a bit lined underneath, once this is absorbed the lines look much more smoothed out.
The old formula contained a good amount of proper vitamin c (ascorbic acid), it was the 5th ingredient on the ingredients list. But the new formula only contains sodium ascorbyl phosphate (a far less effective and less studied form of vitamin c) and it is only the 14th ingredient on the ingredient list, which means the amount and form of vitamin c is nowhere near enough to be effective. Why change a good formula that had the proper type of vitamin c and an effective amount of vitamin c? You completely ruined this product. Useless.
Have been using this product for some years. The new formula is not the same. The cream texture is different and does not rub in so easily and does not feel as rich. It smells different as well. In the old formula it was obvious that there was vitamin C in it due to the orange colouration that would occur in the nozzle and the tube was aluminium to ensure that the properties of vitamin C did not perish. The new formula is in a plastic tube and there are no signs of discolouration. I do not believe it is the same product as I have compared them. It is such a shame.
Why change things that aren’t broken?I’ve used this for about 2 years and absolutely love it. Rave about it to everyone. I’m half way through a tube of the new formula and hate it. It’s drying, around the eyes, doesn’t have the same glowing effect, the tube obviously has less vitamin C in as is not in the metallic packaging. This just feels like the other q10 eye cream, which I didn’t like. I will sadly be shopping around for an alternative as this is no where near as good as it was.
