I went away recently and forgot to pack my moisturiser. When visiting the local super market I saw this moisturiser on discount and just £2! So of course grabbed it. I am so pleasantly surprised with this product and in fact have continued to use it now! My skin is a little sensitive and this has been so gentle and calming. The smell is very light and not too heavily fragrant. The texture really adds moisture without leaving your skin feeling super oily. It’s PERFECT under make up and leaves your make up feeling and looking flawless without any creases. I wore this as a base under make up for a wedding recently and it looked great and didn’t once look oily. This also includes and SPF which, for £2 is an absolute bargain! I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Change back please

If Nivea wants to be seen as transparent and trustworthy, they'll admit that this is a totally new product and not a mere refinement of the original formula. This new product is a greasy lotion with a horrid scent. Nivea says this product is more sustainable. Whether it is or not, that is immaterial if the product is useless. Nivea - please listen to your loyal customers and change it back to the formula everyone loved. I feel cheated that I bought this product under the impression that it was the original formula. I won't do tricked again.

Change it back!!

I’ve been using this cream for over a decade, it was the only cream I found which doesn’t upset my eczema or sensitive skin but they’ve changed the fresh citrusy scent to a horrible floral one your Nan might use in her bathroom and the consistency is now runny and more like a £1 hand lotion you dread getting in a Christmas toiletry set which lines your bin the following day. On top of that it’s now irritating my skin and feels greasy after use leaving an oily face where it was once refreshed and clean looking. Disappointed to say the least, I won’t be buying this anymore. Do not waste your money.

Decent moisturizer but heavy & SPF coverage isn’t adequate

I received this complimentary from Influenster to review. I think this may be a better moisturizer for the winter, but it was too heavy for my combination acne-prone skin for the summer. I do think it has a nice, soft texture. Because it’s on the heavier side, I end up using a pretty small amount to cover my face so I don’t think the SPF 15 is of much benefit since it’s such a thin layer. Would have been better at the very least to be SPF 30 because that’s what dermatologists recommend for the minimum daily SPF coverage. Either way, I think it’s a decent moisturizer for those on the drier side but nothing special. It also has fragrance it in which is something to keep in mind if you’re fragrance-sensitive.

Great for normal skin

I am surprised because I received a full size sample through influenster in exchange for giving my honest opinion about it. I had the idea that nivea creams were creams for older ladies (my grandmother and aunts used it daily) so my thought was that these creams were thick, hard to absorb and left a greasy skin feeling all day long. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the Package and saw that the cream actually has all the opposite characteristics to my thoughts. It is light, it refreshes, it absorbs very quickly into the skin, I love that it has an SPF15. Unfortunately the cream I received is for normal skin and my skin type is combination skin so I can't use it daily, my daughter who is a teenager uses it every day. Horrid new formulation

Been using this cream for many many years and very dissatisfied with the most recent formulation change to all the products in this range using 3 of the creams in this range depending on skin changes. The consistency is now watery and not pleasant on the skin . The new fragrance is dreadful in comparison to the previous version and medical smelling. I have also found the product now irritates my skin particularly around the more delicate eye area of skin - leaving the skin feeling like I can only describe as having sun burn! Such a shame as the previous version was an absolute gem

Keeps my skin soft and protected!

This day cream is lovely! It has a lightweight formula, which feels very gentle on my skin and leaves my face feeling soft, silky, moisturised and nourished all day long. It's easy to apply, gliding onto my skin easily and absorbing very quickly. I'm really happy with this product and it's a great addition to my skincare routine, particularly as it has the added benefit of protecting my skin with SPF 15, without feeling oily or clogging my skin at all. It has the classic Nivea scent, which is lovely and mild. This cream is in a 50ml tube, which is big enough to last for a long time, but it's also small enough to easily fit into a make-up bag or handbag, to moisturise and protect your skin on the go. This is a great product and I'd recommend it!

Pretty noice

I received this complimentary from Influenster. This day cream is actually pretty nice. It provides all day hydration and revives dull skin. I would still pair with a face sunscreen since the 15 Spf isn't enough for me. It absorbs very quickly, doesn't leave skin oily and doesn't clog pores. Also the scent isn't super strong nor harsh so it's great on my sensitive skin! My favourite day cream is by Shiseido, this one doesn't compare. However for a less expensive alternative, it's pretty good. It is thick, so a little goes a long way. (So pair it with a good fave sunscreen) Don't rely on it alone for sun protection. I probably wouldn't buy this product on my own but it was nice to try!

So disappointed!

I can only echo what all the other reviewers are saying about this new formula, it's awful! So greasy it just doesn't soak in, I tried to use it as hand cream instead, to get rid of it, but I had to wipe it off. And it smells old, almost as though it's gone off. So glad I've still got 3 bottles of the old version left as I won't be buying anymore Nivea unless they change it back. Nivea please listen to your valued customers and stop spouting the same response to everyone. Please give us back our old cream!!

Truly awful- please change back

This truly awful new formula is nothing like the original, which was so good that I had used it for over ten years. Where the original was creamy, this is runny; where the original had a pleasant, clean scent, this smells cheap and cloying; where the original was easily absorbed, this sits on my skin; where the original left my skin mousturised, this leaves my skin irritated, spotty and tight. Sometimes it is best to own your mistakes Nivea. Please revert back to the original formula or lose your loyal customers. Please provide separate reviews for this new formula - it is dishonest to include the reviews for the older formula which was a completely different product.
