I've been using this moisturiser for years and I've loved it but I've opened the latest bottle to find the formula has completely changed. Previously it was light weight and made my skin look really fresh but this new stuff feels claggy, heavy and thick on my skin. My makeup didn't sit well on it this morning either. I'm going to have to find an alternative. Do not buy!

Have used this product for many years and was my favourite moisturiser for my oily skin. The new formula is somehow oily while leaving my skin totally dry and patchy, and has caused an acne breakout. Had trouble applying foundation over it. Very disappointed and will not be repurchasing. Understand need to be more sustainable, but is pointless if product is now unusable by target audience.

NEW formula - MADE IN POLANDOLD formula - MADE IN GERMANY(You will be able to see this at the back of the old vs new cream bottle)The country of production is not an issue to me, however there is clear quality differences in the product which is why I am concerned.The NEW formula cream is oily. (Maybe suitable for normal skin?)The OLD formula was mattifying, and suitable for combination skin.I cannot use this cream everyday, I will have to search for an alternative unless Nivea are able to revert this formula back to the original.
I used to love this moisturiser until the new formulation. I noticed the old formula had 17 listed ingredients and the new one has 30 on the box!! No wonder my sensitive acne prone skin has gone crazy. Over the course of a week, I’ve developed new acne, red, stinging skin as well as dry patches. I still have an old tube and compared the consistency. The old one glides on my skin whilst the new one feels thick and hard to spread. It’s a bit unfair that they kept the box the same despite drastically changing the ingredients list, which has misled many people into thinking this is the same moisturiser as before. Wish they could just bring back the old version. Please listen to customer feedback as it seems many people feel the same way, not just me.
Not good enough, been using this cream for years and it was fine. Started to notice breakouts on my face despite not changing my routine. Only to go through the reviews and realise the formula has been changed. This change of formula is probably whats causing my breakout now. Why change whats not broken, utterly disappointed. Now in the market for a new facecream.
This face cream was perfect, affordable, light and non greasy. The new formula is awful and causes skin problems.So many reviews saying it is unacceptable. Not one good review since changing the formula. I’ve searched and searched for an alternative face cream, but no other cream is as good as the original. PLEASE change it back, or maybe Nivea doesn’t care at all about its customers. Very disappointed.
So disappointed. I’ve used this moisturiser for years and loved the way it wasn’t greasy and soaked in to my skin so quickly. Can’t believe that Nivea have changed the formula without letting customers know. Cannot now use this moisturiser. I have several unused tubes as they are all the new formula. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK. Am searching for a new very light, facial moisturiser- none of the Nivea ones any good. Any ideas very welcome.
I’ve used this product for around 6 years and it was the only affordable moisturiser that didn’t break me out. I bought a new one and instantly noticed a complete difference in formula, the product just sits on the skin and feels almost like suncream? After a while it then just feels like I’ve not put on any moisturiser at all. I’ve now been breaking out from it as well! The point of this product is to be a LIGHT moisturiser but it’s now a heavy mask that has the opposite effects, I get that the ingredients have been changed for the sake of sustainability but if the product isn’t fit for purpose then it’s not sustainable at all it’s a waste of resources
I have oily and sensitive skin that’s prone to breakouts. I have been successful using this as my moisturiser for years as it hydrates my skin without clogging my poresBought a new tube and noticed instead of melting into my skin like normal it was like smushing paste around. One week later my previously clear skin is now covered in large inflamed spots. Very disappointed
