From the first time I used this product, I was impressed. I used to have combination skin, but my once oily T-zone has become dryer over the years (I'm now 47), with scaly patches on my nose and cheeks. I was at a loss as to what products to use and wasted money on various moisturisers which made no difference and sometimes made it dryer. This moisturiser is a game changer and actually moisturises my skin without making it greasy. My skin is now soft and hydrated. It's also a great base for make-up and helps to provide me with a daily glow. Highly recommended for dry/ageing skin.

I have regularly used this for over 5 years. They tried to change the formula a couple of years back (got rid of the almond oil if I recall correctly) but restored the original one after complaints. They have recently changed the formula AGAIN with a new scent. As a guy, I'd say the new scent is surprisingly quite masculine but it still irritates the skin and honestly smells cheap, synthetic and distinctly chemically medicinal. Not sure why they have to keep running a great product with tweaks. Please just restore the original as it was.

This is a great moisturiser. I used it on holiday after being in the sun and feeling like I needed a more thicker moisturiser. Smells lovely too. HOWEVER, I won't buy it again and I find the tube very fiddly to use when squeezing from one hand into the other. Especially when the cream is almost finished. I threw the tube away when there was still cream in it as I couldn't be bothered with it anymore. For that reason, I wouldn't buy it again.
After much searching and trying many different products, this used to be a perfect day cream for my dry skin. But Nivea has changed the formula without making customers aware on the packaging. It is now oily and the fragrance isn't nice. I will have to go through the process again of finding a new day moisturiser, which is difficult and time consuming. Very disappointed, Nivea :(

Fragrance - light rose/flower fragrance that does not last too long, this is good because it does not compete with my perfume. Product - smooth and creamy, light enough to spread easily on my skin but concentrated enough to instantly moisturise any dry skin patches without being oily. My skin felt light and moisturised all day but without any build up of cream or oily, sticky residue. I have used nivea products a fair amount in the past and so am confident in saying, this is hands down the best product of theirs out there. It rivals far more expensive brands with the same or better results. I have been using nivea’s refreshing day cream 24 hour moisture for normal skin’. The product comes in a robust flip lid tube perfect for on the go. Smells lovely, easily absorbed my the skin and offers hours and hours of moisturising. What makes this product a cut above is that it offers SPF 15 but is not heavy! This is not usually the case and other brands don’t do this as well as this product. Nivea have nailed it with this product. As must have for any handbag.
I have pretty good skin and I’m already a fan of Nivea products having used both the basic blue pot moisturiser from my teens then upgrading to the Nivea Rose Care moisturising gel cream both of which really suited my skin. However I really wanted a rich moisturiser with SPF included, as I’m in my 50’s now so I was pleased when I was sent this to try. It surpassed my expectations. It was rich in texture (without being sticky) and absorbed well into my skin. I applied both to my face and Décolletage area each morning and my skin felt soft and hydrated throughout the day. I didn’t feel like I needed a top up (a little goes a long way) and it was great knowing I had the added SPF 15 in the cream. Excellent value for money too. My new ‘go to’ day cream.
After putting the cream on my face, it felt quite greasy. However, after a few minutes the cream was absorbed, and suggest that one has to wait a few minutes before putting on make up. My face did not feel moisturised for 24 hours. However, I am not sure if one has to feel the moisture. I was disappointed that the SPF is 15, so on going out during the day I had to add a Sun Lotion (UVA/UVB) with a higher SPF, over the moisturiser. I think that the cream is possibly designed for younger skins. My score reflects mainly on the SPF.
