I have been using Nivea since I don't know when. I love this moisturizer, although it has a gentle perfume in it, but I think its really gentle, so I don't mind it much. Somehow, this gentle perfume has taken over my life, it is really satisfying and goes very well along its formula. Now I just think that I am trapped, into buying this formula again and again, and I never want to run out of Nivea, specially in the winters. But, what I really want to ask the Nivea manufacturer is to make this product without perfume, keeping the same formula same consistency. Lol Actually, Nivea Crème is the only moisturizer with a distinctive smell that is not found in any other brands around the world. And I think the Nivea perfume is really unique and basically its distinctive feel and unique perfume is almost like a trademark of this brand. I would like to see them make the same formula without perfume though. I don't know why they have not tried making a fragrance free version. I think its that as consumers we ae so used to smells and perfumes, and so many people crave good smelling products and they kind of make us feel good when our lotions and creams smell like strawberries or other smells likewise. But I have heard that smells and perfumes can actually cause bad reactions on your skin and also make our skin allergic to other products in the particular formula, if we use it for a longer period of time. One day you just get up, and the product starts causing an allergic reaction on your skin, and is no longer suitable for your skin. But I have not seen a living example of this, or any proofs, it could be a theory... One more thing, I don't know why, but I have to keep using this cream throughout the day... this formula has something in it that you have to keep using it again and again during the day, or else you end up with dry hands, even drier than before. It is also very addicting in a sense, that I just keep feeling dry on my face, and hands and crave this formula throughout the day. I feel that maybe it is just purposefully made this way. Lol, its like the Chinese food buffets, that are known to have used MSG and other bad things, to make people come back again and again, or like how you get addicted to Lay's BBQ chips containing harmful ingredients like that make you wanna keep eating them... or like the way we are so used to donuts or chocolates or coffee... Maybe the Nivea people want us to buy more and more of this crème and also run out of it too soon, by using it so many times each day... Who knows, but I do mix the Vaseline petroleum jelly into this hard consistency crème because my skin ends up being more dry without it, and I just basically mix them both and use them in conjunction, so the moisturizing lasts longer. Anyways, these are just my thoughts on this cream, and I might have dry hands and skin than others, but works wonders on the texture, tone, and complexion of your skin, and a really nice cream to use in the winter. I would also like them to stop using the glass jar, because this Nivea Glass Jar broke on me more than twice. Otherwise, would definitely be using this all my life. Keep it up Nivea, please never take away this product and only get best from better please...!!

I must say, however, that from the first application I found it wonderful, delicate and above all fresh texture, it is easily absorbed even now that it is very hot. Indeed I must say that once absorbed, the skin remains smooth and hydrated all day and as far as I'm concerned also luminous. I have a small spot on my left temple (similar to a vein under the skin) for which I confess I never bothered to use specific treatments but I must say that since I have been using this product it is less evident. This product works great if you know how to apply it. The trick to avoiding the greasy, tacky feeling is to apply very conservatively from the center of the face outwards! Start with half the usual amount you use and split it between both cheeks, massage in, then see how you're feeling. You can add a thicker layer under your eyes in lieu of an eye cream if you don't have one on hand. A generous dollop on the nose helps soothe tissue burn!

Night time regeneration

The cream is so easy to apply, it really glides on well and it’s easy to get good coverage quickly. My one reservation about this cream is I don’t feel it is absorbed very rapidly by my skin. This is usually not a problem, but with the hot weather we’ve recently been having, it feels a little clammy overnight. It’s less of an issue during cooler nights. I’ve been looking for a great Night Cream for a while. So NIVEA Daily Essentials Regeneration Night Cream appealed to me particularly because of its Vitamin E & Anti-Oxidant and It provides 24h moisture. Ideal for someone like me who occasionally suffers dry skin breakouts . That said , It is Designed for normal /combination skin . On first inspection nice box but the actual pot of night cream. Looks cheap and dated . On applying it had a fast absorbing formula which did leave my skin feeling super moisturised and refreshed. Right up until the morning . It’s wasn’t greasy , didn’t feel heavy . My partner has commented on my completion looking better. And honestly I really do think it’s boosted my skin looking all healthy and dewy . What a wonderful product. My face was dehydrated from 2 weeks in the sun and was in need of help! This Nivea product was definitely the answer. This is my 4th night of using the Nivea Daily Essentials 24h Moisture boost + refresh night cream, and wow my skin is vibrant, soft and smooth plus it feels really nourished again. I wake up and my skin is still feeling fresh. I also noticed my face has a glow about it as well. Which makes me feels great! I haven't had any breakouts which I normally get from night creams. This night cream is so easy to apply to the face, I applied it in small circular movements, and it's smells so good too. You only have to use a small amount so it's great value. Nivea’s dream cream

I’ve been looking for a night cream for a while. One that actually works and is not a ridiculous price. Nivea’s Daily Essential Regenerating Night Cream seems to be absolutely perfect! I have combination skin and have dry skin around my nose and t-zone. Usually I have to apply a thick moisturiser in the mornings, but after a SINGLE use of this cream, my skin was already soft and smooth in the morning. I was so impressed at how quick and obvious the results were. I’ve used it every night since, and the improvement in my skins’ health is remarkable. It has a lovely smell and is a light cream. You only have to use a tiny amount, so the pot will last for tonnes of applications and it won’t make your face feel plastered in product! I was really sceptical about this product which is why I was keen to try it. I usually use bank breaking products so I wasn't sure how a high street brand would hold up. I have tried it the last few days at night as advised by the packaging. The smell reminds me of holidays! The consistency of the product is quite thick so would be typically more for dry/very dry skin I would say. The downside for me is that it's quite sticky once on your face. I found it took a good 30 minutes for that sticky feeling to absorb into my skin. My skin does however feel quite hydrated in the morning. The packaging does make the product look slightly cheaper though and i wouldn't have normally looked at it on the shelf as I would think it's aimed more at an older audience.
