And first glance, this is a thick paste that smells like my grandma. The texture is thick but when put onto wet skin it turns very liquidy and doesn’t absorb well. After trying different methods, I found that in order to use this product well you need to wash your face and then pay dry until your skin is only slightly damp. Then take a small amount and warm it up on your fingers. This will soften the formula and make the solution a bit thinner and easier to apply. If you do this, then it absorbs beautifully into the skin and gives great hydration. I use this before bed as it takes a bit to fully absorb into the skin, and I wake up with glowy hydrated skin! It’s great if you know how to use it and don’t mind the scent.

One of Marilyn Monroe’s beauty tips was using this as a primer back in the day. Primers have evolved since then but this formula is creamy, thick, and hydrating. This goes perfectly under foundation. It creates a smooth hydrated base for a perfect foundation application. If you’re not into makeup this is still a great moisturizer on its own. The fragrance is mild and not overbearing. If you have dry skin this is also a great moisturizer to try for supple hudrated skin. This is an all over moisturizer as well. Use it any and everywhere. It’s something I’ve bought over and over again over the years. I love the little 1oz. Tin it’s perfect to throw in your bag and go.

Love it! It smells really fresh like Niveas shower gels do as opposed to an an actual all over body cream. Upon first sight you could be mistaken for thinking that it was some kind of hair product, but this adds to the sleek and modern look of the product. It was so easy to apply all over my body, face and hands; although I mainly used it on the latter. It wasn’t greasy at all and didn’t leave any residue like most creams do which was an added bonus. After continued use for a week or more my hands felt fresher, more hydrated and softer than they usually do. Overall fantastic product that I would definitely go out of my way to buy again!

Masculine Style, Versatile Product

Nivea Men are one you the leading names in men's skin care, so this product had a lot to live up too. The product itself looks fantastic, brushed steel effect lid, textured pot and even the blue colour of the crème gives it a modern masculine feel, the only criticism of the packaging is that the lid wont fasten tight, instead it reaches a point then keeps spinning, so doesn't feel secure. The crème itself is light, refreshing and a little goes a long way, the versatility of this product makes it a good all-round winner for men's skin care. But I did find that if you apply even the slightest bit too much, say to your hands, then your hands can feel tacky which can be annoying. Overall fab product with a few minor changes could be 5 star.
