I’ve been using this shower gel for many years and didn’t use anything else. It just worked, it lathered well, had a pleasant fragrance, was good value for money and great for my sensitive skin. That was until a little green sticker appeared saying it was a new biodegradable formula. It doesn’t lather as well anymore which means you end up using far more than you used to. Countless others have noticed the same, I really hope that the people at Nivea are reading these comments and taking notice so that you can go back to the previous tried and tested product. I’m sure many like me are looking for an alternative!

I have been suffering with dried out skin from certain shower gels. I tend to lean towards the 3 in 1 due to being a little lazy, not wanting to use several bottles of product. Nivea have provided a nice all in one, body, face and hair which I found to leave my skin quite surprisingly smooth after showering. I might even say, hydrated. It has a nice, organic smell and nice feel, comes to a nice lather, especially when using a shower puff. I’m yet to see anything else on the market that offers this type of product. The bottle itself, is a standard Nivea bottle and doesn’t offer anything new in style. But all in all, I think it’s quite a good product.

The smell was pleasant, a little citrus and although the gel seemed quite thin in comparison to my previous shower gels it lathered well and i enjoyed the experience. It also washed off easily and decided to use it as suggested to clean my hair as well as the rest of my body. After the shower I felt that although the gel may not have left my skin quite as dry as some shower gels, it dried out my hairline quite severely and I did have to use moisturising cream afterwards to ease my face and hairline. I do suffer a little from dry skin at times on my face where it feels tight after showering so was a little disappointed Nivea Men Sensitive didn't work as well as I'd hoped. But it was better than some.
