When I first received this product I was apprehensive in feeling would this really help the itchiness I develop after a shave? Also will it give my skin the hydration it needs?Well to the first point when I originally used other products they would tend to give me a soothing feel temporarily but the itchiness and the oily residue left by these products would only aggravate my itchiness more where I shave regardless of if it's a clean shave or stubble. Fantastic Nivea!

What can I say about this NIVEA MEN Sensitive Skin & Stubble Face Gel!? I love it. I apply it straight after shaving to help irritation and also as a general daily moisturiser. It is fast absorbing, non-sticky and a light face gel that soothes my sensitive skin immediately. This gel absorbs well even when I let my beard grow a little longer stubble. It helped with instant relief, hydration and soothed my skin. It also smells amazing! Overall I would highly recommend!

Great product but is it the best?

I've been using another skin care brands gel moisturiser for a while now so was really interested to see how this compared. First impressions were good, it's not too heavy and absorbs quickly. Shiny at first but that soon turns into more of a matte effect. It stacks up pretty well against the competition.My only complaint would be the longevity of the effect. It states 24hr but I haven't found that to be the case. Generally by the next morning my skin is very dry again so whilst it offers an immediate impact it's not the longest lasting. By comparison the other brands equivalent I usually use tends to last a little longer.Overall I think it's a good product and would definitely purchase if the price is right

Feels comfortable on the skin. Skin feels nourished and hydrated. No residue left on skin stubble and not sticky. With regular use my skin is looking healthy and feels moisturised. Aimed at those with sensitive skin but as gentle will suit all skin types. Overall a great face moisturiser to use day and night.

The first time I used this after shaving, It irritated my skin and it burnt and burnt and burnt. So much so that if I’d reviewed it then I would have given it 0 stars and said NEVER EVER buy this. The next time I shaved I used the gel, was smooth and there was no unpleasant itchiness and it was ok. It didn’t I feel any better than any other product I’ve used, and indeed at the end of this trial period. I have stopped using I and gone back to my existing Face Gel.If I hadn’t had the unpleasant experience then I think this is a great product, unfortunately I did and I can only be honest and say I’d never buy this again, which is a great shame as I use Nivea products a lot and I try and keep with the same branding if I can/
