I have sensitive skin and find this product works well for me, without causing any reactions. It’s great for removing makeup, including my tough waterproof mascara, and leaves my skin feeling refreshed and clean. It’s important to me that all traces of makeup are removed before I go to bed and this product does a thorough job. I also love that it doesn’t have any strong fragrance as I like to use gentle products on my face. A little goes a long way with this product. I put a small amount onto a cotton pad, so a bottle lasts me several months. I received this product from Nivea to review.

I've been using this micellar water to cleanse my eye, cheek and lip makeup for about a year now. This is my second or third bottle, I believe. It is the best cleanser I've ever used, hands down. There's no stinging or irritation (and that's coming from a sensitive eyes girlie!), no blurry vision or harsh smell. It feels great on my skin, doesn't bother my skincare products afterwards and with a Q-tip I can easily swop my little mistakes away.

I love this stuff!I was starting to break out more than usual when I started using this micellar water morning and night. I used it before my regular cleanser and cleared my break outs up within a couple of days. It was light on my skin which can be sensitive at times and made my skin feel hydrated after use. It was great at taking off my makeup as well. I used two cotton pads soaked in this product to remove my makeup, and I am happy to say it removed almost all of it. The only thing was that there was a slight residue of mascara left on my eyelashes but that was it. I’ve used this micellar water every day for 2 weeks and it’s really good product. As it’s stated in description, this micellar water is suitable for sensitive skin. It doesn’t irritate eyes, the skin doesn’t feel dry or red, no burning sensation. It easily removes make-up with no rubbing. One more thing that I’ve noticed - there is no need to rinse Even though, you can find a micellar water at the same price range, but with safer ingredients composition.

This has quickly become one of my favorite cleansing products. It's extremely gentle on the skin! I'm not sure if it's just me or if this is how the product is, but I have sensitive skin, and the product stings a little when first applied. I became concerned that I had burned my face, but to my surprise, there were no rashes or breakouts. It is effective at removing everything from stubborn makeup to daily dirt and grease from the face. After using it, my skin feels well-cared for and thoroughly cleansed. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone with sensitive, oily skin.P.s. doesnt work on waterproof makeup.

Awful product, horrible reaction.

I don't have sensitive skin but I came up in hives, eczema, swelling . Skin around the eyes has been left red raw. Its been weeks since I touched it, the whole bottle down the plughole. Yet all these weeks on, I am still dealing with the bad reaction to it. My eyes are triggered so easily now, woken up with eyes so swollen, I can hardly see.3 weeks, £17 later a trip to the GP, I am now on steroid cream because I have not fully healed still from the effects this had on me.Phenoxyethanol should be removed from this product!

Swollen eyes

I always use Nivea and was the first time buying this product and am now really regretting it. Look off my waterproof make Saturday night with no issues. The issues started Sunday morning when my eye lids and under eyes were swollen and eyes nearly shut, had to resort to using my Dr's prescribe steroid cream to bring down the swelling. Eyes today Monday are still slightly swollen and itchy by the tear ducts. Will have be spend a week using this cream and frame from wearing make-up until they improve. Didn't take any photos but my face was a mess.

The best

Really surprised to see this so far from 5 stars. I’ve got horrifically sensitive and dry skin but never had an issue with this.It’s hands down the best Micellar water I’ve used, by a LONG way. The ‘no rub’ is absolutely true. I hold it on my eye for a couple of seconds and my mascara just melts off, unlike any other I’ve used where I need to rinse and repeat several times and rub a fair bit.Always go back to this regardless of the price. It’s worth it.

Here is my experience with this so called NIVEA MicellAIR Skin Breathe Miceller Water 3 in 1 makeup remover: I have used it on several occasions, on a face with and without makeup. It does what it says in terms of cleaning in my opinion: it deeply cleanses and removes makeup residues very well. I have used it for removing waterproof mascara as well, and it performed quite well: i wanted to touch up either with this micellar water or another makeup remover for the mascara residues after using this micellar water for the first round and they worked fairly well and removed the residues. Perfume wise, I sensed no strong smell at all, it is a soapy clean smell that felt natural. It did not require rubbing or rinsing indeed, no feelings of tightness afterwards. I have sensitive and eczematous skin so having an attack during the same time I tried this product is a good chance for the sake of this review: my face had a slight burning feeling first time I used this and that was the only time I wanted to rinse it just in case. The burning ceased for the other times. I also had really bad eyelid eczema but I had to put makeup on one day and used this product as well to remove it: at that time, it was not overly irritating for my skin but i did not find it soothing either. So my experience is a rather balanced one, I did not particularly find it very effective in terms of soothing in during an active eczema attack, but it was not particularly irritating on top of that. Other times when my skin is sensitive to a lesser degree, the product was nice to use, a very good makeup cleanser and rather nice and easy on the skin, not tightening or disrupting the skin's integrity and elasticity. I think that if you have sensitive skin, it is worth a try to see how you get along together, it might not be the one for you or it might be your new easily reachable inexpensive treasure!
