I bought a Sentry Leather watch as a gift for my father a few years ago, and he has loved it. When I expressed to customer care my concern that the only way for me to truly replace the watch my father loved was to make it custom, their response was to deny me any assistance and suggest I wait for the next release even though that would leave him without his watch indefinitely. I am truly disappointed that a this company has such poor customer service as to not allow a loyal customer to replace a gift for their father with something he would actually enjoy wearing. It's sad that a brand I had confidence in and planned to stay loyal to cared so little. Due to this I can no longer confidently recommend this brand to anyone who expects real customer service rather than policy parroted to them after the fact.

I purchased the copper and brown leather sentry watch and I keep getting compliments on it. It fits quite nicely, and looks great. I have skinnier wrists so I was worried the watch would look too large proportionately but it looks great. It keeps its time as well, which is needed from a watch. The clasp is also off-set from the center of the watch so it doesn’t scratch anything when you rest your wrist on a table. Great design, looks great, functions perfectly.

I got this watch for my fiancé as a day of gift for our wedding. The watch itself is beautiful and I got it engraved which came perfectly done. The packaging was nice and classy as well.What I can’t say enough good things to about is this company itself. They are amazing, so kind, and so helpful. My special, sentimental order was first lost in the mail. I reached out to their customer service and that same night they made me a new watch, engraved it, and shipped it out all within 24 hours to make sure it made it before my wedding day. What was the most stressful scenario during the last week of wedding planning, became just a hiccup due to this company. We would get a couple gigs a month that didn't interfere with work and paid amazing rates, and one of those photo shoots required that I wear a nice leather watch. I found this specific model at a store in SF (can't remember the name) but I ended up wearing the HELL out of that watch for as long as I had it! Well, during my break up, my now Ex took my Nixon and over time I forgot the name of the Brand of that "Favorite watch I used to have" until I happened to stumble upon the Nixon website by chance and was pleasantly surprised to instantly recognize the model I once had and I purchased it immediately! It's exactly as I remembered, and I'm grateful for the coincidence of rediscovering the Nixon brand. It's a great piece, although for me, it also brought back nostalgia for a better time.So....ye, the watch is dope, prob gonna get another one no doubt about that.
I did not know about Nixion watches until I found this one. It was a promotion on I believe Huckberry. Really thought the lite blue face and band with the brushed chrome body popped and was unique. .When I received the watch I was a little off taken with the size of the dial. I did not realize it was that large from the ad. I put it on and liked it. It felt nice. Looked good on the wrist. Recommend having at least one of these.
Ordered a custom built watch for around $200 only to have it arrive with a hair or lint strand between the needles. This was supposed to be a wedding present to my fiancé with an engraving on the back that won't make it to be worn on our actual wedding day because it had to be shipped back out and returned for "repair" not because it's faulty but due to poor workmanship. It was delivered 2 weeks before the wedding but my fiancé refuses to wear it because it can be seen with the naked eye. This is absolutely unacceptable and such a disappointment on how this passed quality control. Can't even get a refund on custom builds either due to policy. We both own several nixon watches but we probably won't buy another Nixon again...
The watch is beautiful! Very high quality. This was a gift for our son’s wedding. He loves it. And it’s a great look with his tux. It is very sleek and sophisticated.I 💯 recommend buying this watch. It can be worn casual or dressy. It works both ways. I’m so happy we found this watch. It won’t be my last Nixon!
Amazing watch! The sentry is perfect- it is not too big or too small, just the right size. Nobody ever seems to talk about Nixon leather bands, they are just the right thickness and material is genuine leather making the overall band feel so solid. Also, love arrow detailing, it is the accents like that that I love. It's just right!The color description on this one may be a bit misleading, however. I don't know how it is 'Indigo,' not even in the brightest of sunlight. I was hoping for more blue tone. It does seem overall black in color. Whatever the case, I have fallen in love with this one and will buy more Nixon to come!
It is beautiful but the hands are so dark that it is hard to see the time against the dark background. I will also be calling customer to help get the date and day of week to synch correctly. Nixon usually sets the time and dates before shipping but that did not happen this time. Time and date rollover in the afternoon(and not at the same time) and I need help having that happen at midnight.. hanks
Super disappointing experience with Nixon. When i first received the watch, the battery was dead. Kind of a bummer to have to gift a dead watch. Sent it back to Nixon for repair. Since then, the watch has been mis-delivered, returned to sender, and lost. I have verified the address i gave was correct & can also confirm that i have not had issues like this with any other vendor delivery ever. At this point, they dont seem to have any idea where the watch is. I just want my money back.
