This is an efficient panel heater however the digital timer it comes with is over engineered. The NTL4T models have an adaptive climate feature on the timer, nothing is said about this in the manual or product material. This means when you programme the timer at say 25 degrees for 4pm the heater will calculate how long it takes to heat up a room to the temperature, generally it will say it will take 2 hours to reach 25 degrees. So it will turn on two hours prior to your set time to try and get the room to 25 degrees by 4pm. It is the most RIDICULOUS feature ever as you have to guess when it is going to turn on so you can set the heater to turn on later. Really nice panel heater. Pitty the instructions are so poor and hard to follow. If they can put the Australian warranty information in the box how about some easy to follow instructions in english instead of 10 different languages.
Great product. Only criticism is that the instructions provided could be better. Presumably better will be available online.
It provides a nice type of heat but the timer has a weird system causing it to turn on and off without logic. They call it adaptive system but makes no sense. For example it turns on 2 hours before your set time and then doesn’t turn off. They say it is due to the room temperature. Even their help line can’t explain how it works.
This is such a hot purchase - yes, enjoy the pun. It warms rooms up, isn't loud and the remote is easy to understand. I'm finally able to get out of bed in the morning, the morning chill is gone thanks to the timer. Best purchase ever.
One of the two heaters works perfectly. The other is faulty - it doesn't turn on or heat. I have requested a refund under the Australian Consumer Law and am waiting to hear back from Bing Lee. I predict a long and frustrating process ahead.
I haven’t had occasion to use it much, but on one occasion, I was somewhat disappointed. It probably took the chill off the room, but it wasn’t warm at all. I have moved it to a spare bedroom rarely used where it may be more effective. I am actually considering a small split system for this particular room
An excellent, gentle, silent, heat. I run it during the day while our solar panels are generating heat and the main living room is warm with radiant heat for the evening when it is switched off.
