The NH-D12L chromax.black is an all-black version of Noctua's award-winning NH-D12L low-profile cooler in the 120-mm class that is characterised by excellent cooling performance and a high degree of housing compatibility. With a height of just 145 mm (13 mm lower than the classic 120-mm Noctua models), it fits into numerous 4U systems as well as smaller tower enclosures, which were previously limited to solutions with 92-mm fans. At the same time, its performance exceeds many full-height 120-mm models thanks to its dual tower design with five heat pipes and the trendsetting 120-mm NF-A12x25r fan. Thanks to the single fan configuration and asymmetric design, the NH-D12L on AMD AM5/AM4 and Intel LGA1851/1700/1200 does not protrude over the memory slots. The high-quality complete package is rounded off by the proven SecuFirm2 assembly system and Noctua's renowned NT-H1 thermal compound. The NH-D12L is the perfect choice when first-class cooling performance is required but you have insufficient space for the larger NH-U12A.
