We have a large living room and it heats up in no time.The warmth also travels upstairs and also keeps it slightly warmer upstairs. The thing I like most is the lock so my 1 year old cant play with the buttons and turn it on. We were also worried whether shed burn herself but it doesnt heat up to a point where its too hot to touch

My 70s style apartment had an old gas heater that was removed completely and replaced with a reverse cycle heating cooling unit. This unit was okay for quick heating but a nome with walls made from bricks and mason art needed something more consistent and a radiant heatingsimilar to hydronic heating. This unit does exactly that it provides heat and keeps the room temperature at a pleasant level. Easy to set the timer and there is a choice of mounting on the wall or having rollers. It is slim and attractive. So far I am happy with it and I use it smartly so that the electric bill does not get out of control.

I was very surprised that a heater without a fan actually managed to heat the entire area I wanted it to. Covers a16sq room plus warms the next room up as I leave the door open, house is old concrete block with no insulation and we have had temps below 0 this week. It took about 48 hours to get the room temp up and stable and I keep it running 24/7 to maintain the heat. A lot more expensive than the heaters I have been using and I doubt my power bill will be too great but it's keeping the place warm and with lifetime warranty I'm happy.

It heats up quite quickly. It feels odd to feel hot air "blowing" from it when you know it has no moving parts. Mine replaced a gas heater and is just as effective at heating. I like the fact that you can set the timer for it to turn on and off. Obviously, being plug in, you can place it relocate it if you need to. At 2400 watts, it may end up being dearer a gas heater, (or not, by the time you factor in cylinder rental, safety inspections etc) but here in outer Brisbane, you don't need it on constantly anyway. I've only had it for a short while, but assuming its reliability is good, I'd buy another one if I needed a second heater.
I bought two Noirot Heaters, the Noirot2400W Spot Plus Panel Heater with Timer and Noirot2400W Spot Plus Panel Heater (without a timer). I am currently using the one without the timer. This is an excellent electric Heater, it is quality second to none. The Heater, has a Lifetime replacement warranty. The heat source is excellent. No noisy fans completely quiet. I switch it on in the morning to the highest setting. The Heater heats the lounge room beautifully. Allow15-20 minutes from when you switch it on to heat the room.. It is not at all stifling. We have a fairly large living room with a stair case which we thought the heat might escape. Not the case at all. It heats the room really quickly and makes no noise whatsoever. We also have a one year old who we thought May burn herself but it doesnt get way too hot but hot enough that she knows not to touch it. Havent received our energy bill yet but have to expect it to be a little higher as it does use electricity at the end of the day. Also having an unlimited warranty is a massive plusAs it is dead silent just dont forget to turn it off when you leave the house!
The heater has a really accurate thermostat. After startup, the heater actually uses about 2050 watts, not 2400 watts. Even when its turned off, the settings are saved, so if you set it for 20 degrees, to come on from 5pm to 10pm, and the power goes off, it will be fine, when your battery bank charges up during the next day. Way cheaper than putting in a hydronic system and then paying for gas or electricity, after that.
I have a large open plan combined lounge and dining area which is difficult to heat. Im so glad I bought this heater because it warms the room up in no time and maintains a really good temperature. I no longer have to wrap myself up in a doona and scarf to sit and watch television! This was definitely worth the money. It has a lifetime warranty which is a good selling point. I would recommend this heater for sure.

It heats really well. It has no moving parts, so it's completely silent. It replaced a gas heater. I prefer this one over the gas heater, because there's no gas leak and it doesn't produce carbon monoxide nor carbon dioxide inside the house which is safer in my opinion.It plugs into a standard power outlet which means it can easily be relocated as required.I only had gas bottles for the gas heater. By the time you factor in the cost of renting cylinders, I haven't found this to be any dearer to run than the gas heater anyway.
