Pros: The concept works well and awsome for helping to put the pipe from the portable airconCons: For fact the double sided tape that came on the product was no longer sticky so o had to go buy more. A boy frustrating

Pros: There is none.Cons: The sticky tape didn’t stick, it was like it was so old it wasn’t even sticky enough to keep the paper on it, and it was too short, all in all if I had of paid more for it I would have been fuming, do buy it unless your prepared to get better glue and muck around trying to get it right, a real let down for a good idea.

Pros: noneCons: Can't close window. It is just two sheets of folded plastic sheet. Not even long enough for window. I would consider it to be disposable.

Didn't have a good adhesive
26 February 2023

It seemed like a good idea however, trying to apply it to the window it kept sticking to my hands. Once it was in I left the window shut to help it stick. Unfortunately it still didn't last a day as one side or the other would pull off. Perhaps the plastic needed stretching out first or the adhesive tape was off.

Fiddly fitting
27 December 2021

Not bad but window winder blocks/gets in way of the A/C plastic outlet casing so fiddly getting A/C outlet to stay put. Sticky tape seal also very tricky to get in place as it's pleats tend to fall about whilst getting in place. Too much for my fat fingers!Won't work well if the weather gets a bit blowy. Nice idea but needs some refinement.

Handy Window Solution for Renters
20 December 2019

Although these has been sitting in the shelf for too long and the double sided sticky tape had lost it sticky, duct tape worked well to secure it to the window. I would recommend this product.

LLANON's review of Windout Window Solution
5 February 2019

Cons: A section of the seal came unstuck during operation. Because the CoolSeal is attached by a sticky surface, the glue made it impossible to adjust and difficult to remove without damaging the paint on the window. As soon as it was removed when the window needed to be open, it could not be reapplied. A design flaw is that it is not appropriate for awning windows that are hinged at the top, as it means the hose from the portable air conditioner has to face downwards in the gap where the window opens at the sill. Unless the window sill is near floor, the result is trying to stretch and bend the hose beyond its capacity to get it in place.

Nice idea terrible applications
19 December 2022

The fome tape while tacky could not stay gripped to the metal. The plastice concertina did not want to separate and kept pulling the tape off the frame. Possibly just old stock however felt like a waste of time and money.

Nice idea, but... poor execution.
6 March 2022

A plastic accordion style window solution with double sided foam tape Great idea, but only if the tape is still sticky, hasn't lost the cover and thus lost its tackiness and will then only stick in small sections. It's at least easy to cut to length, and a bit of duct tape/packing tape to reinforce where it did stick/didn't stick has done the job too. Mine might have just been a bad/old stock, but it's kinda cheap and is mostly doing the job... with modification.
