This is the second Noirot heater I buy, and I would not change it for any of their competitors since it ticks all the requirements for family with little kids. It is a peace of mind knowing it can be programmed, change the functions remotely and won’t burn anything.
Heats my 5x3m loungeroom fairly quickly and stays cosy at about 22 degrees. I have floor to ceiling windows in my loungeroom so it gets cold quickly in the Sydney winter weather. If I want to heat the whole apartment (and warm my bedroom a bit before heading off to sleep), it does this as well at 24-27degrees. It has a timer, adjustable heat, castor wheels, has an actual lifetime warranty which another reviewer has used successfully (keep the email receipt), and I can take it with me if I move or wall mount it if I ever buy a place in this economy. It's not cheap - but I walked in to buy a $150 radiator and on reading the boxes and reviews for all of the available ones there, this one had enough functionality and safety to convince me to shell out the $450. My other criticism was that the electronic control panel was too hard to read and difficult to remember how to program and you couldn't set the temperature. Amazing panel heater! I bought one from Harvey Norman several months ago which exceeded my expectations, so purchased another for 2nd bedroom. Heat up super quick, and totally silent! I have allergies and the Noirot heaters are asthma and allergy friendly, so perfect choice for me.
Believe it or not the unit is quite noisy. When on standby mode it makes an irritating high pitch whistle. Emailed distributor with queries with no reply. Tried to call. No reply.
I had a tech person install this product and they had to contact the distributor over a few issues. They indicated it wasnt easy. To start with I/ we couldnt open an account in the app. If experienced qualified people need support purchasers should have some indication this wi fi installation is not like most products with an app that just takes you through a process of installation.I now have videos to assist if necessary . I have had Noirot before and I am confident that the product will do what I want, however the initial part proved frustrating and expensive.
Quiet and comfort. Use Noirot heater for years and buy one more 2000w for the upstairs bedroom. Can be controlled from the phone via wi-fi, even can be controlled when I am downstairs. It is good idea to turn on and preheat it before coming to bedroom.
