The RIPTIDE 125mm sinking stickbait is an ideal sinking stickbait for Kingfish, Mackerel, Tuna, Queenfish, GTs, Barramundi and any other inshore saltwater predator. It can be fished fast or slow, in rough or calm water and is a hugely versatile lure with a variety of retrieve styles.Designed and tested in Australia by the Nomad Sportfishing Team, Nomad Design lures are not only super tough and durable, but also feature unique colours and most importantly unique and highly effective shapes and actions. Each lure has been designed for a specific purpose and has been balanced and tested to work perfectly with the chosen hooks. Every Nomad Design lure has been crafted by decades of experience on the water to be tougher, last longer and to catch big fish.

I use to think the 125mm size was too small but it's a great bite size for fish. I've been successful and confident with this color. Had great success with this lure/color on the Dorado in Panama.

I tried to use this in the surf, made 1 cast and had to put it away. There was a breeze blowing in my face. Might be Okay with no wind.

I used this lure to fish for Mackerels around the shallow rigs; excellent action; well built. The slow sinking is a plus in the type of fishing that I’m doing.
It was great until it got snagged. Got another and have caught a few fish with this lure.
I bought some Nomad lures to try out on the bluewater outside the bar on the Goldcoast. Unbelievable success. Everythings from trevally, bonito, school mackerel etc.. goes for them. I love the white colours on them. I bought the Holo Ghost Shad, bleeding mullet & the Chug Norris Popper. Always great success but very expensive when you lose them.
The good is that the action once it's in the water is great. The not so good is the casting. Into the wind the lure tended to rotate side to side. Almost like a bad football punt. Maybe it's because of its width but I'm no aerospace engineer.
Casts very well, Nomads holds wide range of colors and the lure action are amazing. Great built lures..1 of the best in my experience
Can't rate Nomad gear highly enough from there Madscads, Vertrex or Chug Norris but because I love surface action I am a big, big fan of the Riptides. Built like tanks with wire through, quality BKK hooks and splits and a great action at a price that's reasonable. While I'm sure there are fisho's out there who are happy to pay upwards of $100+ for their lures it's never made a great deal of sense to me .... throwing an $100+ lure into a reef to fish that just want to hang it from the nearest bommie? Ok, best of luck to you if you have that kind of disposable income? For me, I have fished many different Nomads in company with many other fishos fishing $100+ lures and have never been embarressed or failed to catch fish and designed by a guy who has more big GT's n ... MoreCan't rate Nomad gear highly enough from there Madscads, Vertrex or Chug Norris but because I love surface action I am a big, big fan of the Riptides.
