I ordered this brand of Cod Liver Oil because of the quality and ingredients that it has. It doesn’t have added synthetic vitamins like other cod liver oils that add extra vitamin A and vitamin D to there products. Cod liver oil naturally has those vitamins that are bioavailable along with the omega’s. It has many benefits for cholesterol, heart health, inflammation, immunity, hair, skin, etc. Taste good but can be added into something also. Bottle’s arrived very well sealed and packaged. Excellent product to add to your diet!

I buy the liquid version in lemon for myself and the unflavored for my dog. I feel like you I get more for your money. Yes the texture is a little weird, the flavor is totally good though. I swing straight from the bottle and chase with a sip of orange juice. The only thing I don’t like is it’s very hard and messy to measure out for both products, I wish the spout was more conducive for pouring.

I have zero complaints about this product! The quality of ingredients is great. I expect nothing less from Nordic Naturals. The taste is very mild and lemony, it's fish oil so there is only so much you can expect and I think this product manages the taste well. I have no problem taking it and I believe children will have no problem taking it either. I don't get enough fish in my diet to give me the omega-3's I need, so I'm happy that I-Herb offers such a quality brand. Cost is an issue for everything these days. I don't mind paying for quality, and I feel this is a quality product. I will definitely buy again.
I can only speak for myself, but Omega-3s lowered my blood pressure like a miracle. When I got covid back in 2019, my blood pressure spiked like mad and got stuck there for a year and a half. All the stress of the last years dealing with this and everything else were also factors, I'm sure. Not to mention being a lazy sloth not going anywhere anymore, all of this made for a bad situation. Within days I felt almost floaty, and I felt a nice "tiredness" vs. my usual hyper-nervous system. I alternate between this and Omega-3 pills that I pop open in my mouth and then spit out the pill lol. Love this brand very much.
Since it does not have any flavour added it will taste as a fish oil would taste. Its better to add it over your fish or on the salad if you can't take it raw due to its taste. Recommend to take it at least twice per week and additional stack up on omega-3's from other sources like salmon or nuts. In general it will protect your brain (since brains is mostly made of fat, give it the good fat) and in addition it works preventative for a cardiovascular and Alzheimer or other cognitive related conditions.
I purchased this Arctic Cod Liver Oil and did not get 1/4 way thru when the cap just splintered into pieces. No added presure was used or anything just went to open it and it just went into pieces. I cannot use it because I do not know if fragments went into the oil or not. I purchased this after going thru a lot of reviews and read about the company on their website. I like it but this should not happen. I am disappointed but gave it 4 stars because of what this company stands for and puts into their production of this cod liver oil.The pouring of this oil is messy as well. I agree with the other review on this topic. Hard to pour out of this bottle.
