Love the size and design of this pan. Very disappointed in the finish, though. There are numerous flaws in the finish, some even in the molded crevices that create imperfections in the cake. I have collected several Nordic Ware pans over the years and expect better quality in their products. If you buy this product, recommend going to a store where you can sort through the inventory and select a one without flaws. If you're picky about details, do not mail order.

Adorable and top quality

This amazing cake pan was everything I hoped it would be! It’s going to be my new obsession. I followed the directions and primed the pan using Pam with flour. The cake slid right out. I cleaned up while the pan was still a little warm and it was a breeze. I made the recipe on the package. It was somewhere between a pound cake and a coffee bread. It had 2 sticks of butter but not a lot of flavor. If I make the recipe again, I would double or triple the amount of lemon zest and add lemon or almond extract. I would also slightly underbake a recipe for this pan. The additional surface area means the outside browns more than I expected. Thanks to suggestions from commenters on other sites, I used slivered almonds and raisins to make these little bees on top.

Looking forward to using this pan this spring. There are so many recipes that call for honey this pan has endless possibilities.

DEFECTIVE Item; Bubbles/Scratches on INSIDE of Pan

This item arrived with defects in some of the cells; Nordic Ware was notified. They didn't offer to replace the item nor look into their Quality Control. I can't believe that such a reputable company would let something like this slip through their production. I am a Nordic Ware collector (over 60 pans) and part of a Nordic Ware Collectors Group on social media; I will let other collectors in my group know about this shoddy experience.

Hard to clean

This pan is really cute, and feels like its well made. The honey lemon cake recipe that comes with it was yummy, although it does rise a bit higher than the pan if you use all the batter. It is the most difficult to clean pan I have ever owned due to all the nooks and crannies. For this reason I will not be using it very often.

Heavy duty cookware

This is definitely going to be an heirloom. It would range some serious abuse to damage it. Cake was a little lighter in color than I wanted. Will try with cornbread next and cargo up the heat.

Honeycomb roll pan

I was thrilled with the quality of this pan bring a good weight, thickness and coating. The design is a fun surprise for desserts and tear apart cornbread rolls. A great home welcoming gift partnered w/ some local honey and a package of cornbread.
