This is just as pictured. I've never had a 1/2 sheet cake pan so I wanted one just in case I had to bake a large cake. Well...it is large all right. It will take 3-4 cake mixes. Wow, that should serve a large group of people. It is a nice aluminum pan with high sides.
I bought this pan for my granddaughter who is learning to bake and decorate cakes. She loves it. Her first cake was donated to our locale senior citizen center. It turned out great and the center was very pleased to get it.
I recently moved out of my parents house and into my own place (yay me!) I wanted to get only the kitchen ware that I absolutely needed because I'm on a budget. The Nordic Ware High-Sided Sheet Cake Pan was a GREAT FIND! It's under $20 and I can use it to bake/cook various different things - I bake cakes in it but I also cook hams, roasts, and lasagnas in it. It's also easy to clean! I would definitely recommend.
This is the perfect pan for a cherished family recipe that usually runs over the sides of an average pan. Bakes evenly
I'm sure they are perfect for cinnamon rolls but this family loves baking powder biscuits. One is never enough and no one leaves without "their fair share" of "take home" so large pans are the most essential for making enough and please get the honeycomb cutter making it easier to cut six at a time.
I love it because it has high sides. I used ittonight to make a sheet pan dinner and it turned out great!
