A bit pricey but I was looking for something that would not make me look like a cyclist, which I ain't. Yeah I am the guy that wears normal shorts on top of the bibs LOL So this is a very nice show and comfy as well as functional. All in all a good package, just maybe 30€ too much imho.
Comfortable shoes, a bit narrow. Biggest problem is that laces are not fixed at the bottom, so it takes quite some time to set them properly (it easily happens you tighten just one half of the laces, while other remains untightened).Other than that, so far no complaints.
The shoes are easy to open and they fit perfectly around my feet. I drove 2 hours on my bicycle into heavy rain and my feet are completely dry. 24 months guarantee is a plus.
I ended up returning these but it was hard to do.These were so comfortable!! The ripstop uppers were soft and cushy, but the fit was dialed in with the, um, dial. These were tied with Shimano SH-EX702 for me. Both shoes have similar stiffness, but the Rocket Plus felt more plush. I felt the release mechanism on the Boa dial was slightly more convenient on the 702s. But the NW Rocket Plus allows for incremental loosening of the dial which the Boa on the 702s doesn't do. It was a hard choice and I think would be happy with either shoe.I found them to fit true to size (NW had a nice size chart on their site) and felt that the overall quality is on par with most big brands.These are not for the racers or anyone who wants a really stiff performance shoe, but they ... MoreI ended up returning these but it was hard to do.These were so comfortable!! I would happily use these for MTB, road, gravel, and bikepacking.I also tried the NW Corsair and NW X-Trail Plus shoes. The X-Trail Plus shoe was very similar to this shoe except the uppers were made of a more traditional "leather" material. I felt that the Corsairs were going to be too soft for MTBing at my size.
Excellent pair of shoes that are light and comfortable.
These shoes are a good fit, true to size and as a sale item were good value for money. They are both comfortable and stylish. The dial closure mechanism is a nice feature.
